she could be dope. my dream cast Angelica is Ana Villafane... maybe one day. But I'd take Mary Testa as Angelica before I see Mandy scream her way thru Satisfied again.

said nobody on this board, ever. lol"
Oh geez, is she not good in it? Or are you being facetious? :) I haven't read reviews of her performances, but I'm an In The Heights fan."
Mandy gives a very polarizing performance. I don't have a problem with her Satisfied (she can't rap but she kinda speak-sings through the rap section) and I think she's good in a few minor songs (Who Lives, It's Quiet Uptown) but The Schuyler Sisters.... yikes, she sounded so strained and out of breath through the whole thing. The Reynolds Pamphlet also seemed to tire her out because she basically spoke/screamed and she didn't even seem that angry at Hamilton. Instead, it seemed more like she was sulking that it wasn't her that Hamilton cheated on, which I REALLY disliked.
Judging by her Instagram it looks as if Elizabeth Judd is leaving the cast this weekend. I wonder who will be the new standby and also curious to see what she goes on to do.

What a shame, she's consistently been the highlight of the show for me every time I've seen her! I have a feeling she's doing The Outsiders musical because she was in a reading of it if I'm remembering correctly.
I saw Montego on Saturday. Her Angelica has definitely improved, but her vocals don’t come together until It’s Quiet Uptown. And at that point...well...
The good news is that most of the Chicago cast is sparkling. Andrew Call is HILARIOUS as King George, Miguel Cervantes has grown over the 2.5 years in his role as Hamilton, and Paris Nix is a hilarious Jefferson, but doesn’t let down as Lafayette. He’s really, really good. The ensemble is young but on point. It feels fresher then it did this time a year ago.
Tommar Wilson (Burr and others standby) also left the show on Sunday. I was always curious about his performance, but don't remember reading anything hear about it.

Quentin Oliver Lee(Current tour Phantom ) said on his IG live he's leaving in May for another show and can't say what it is yet but he said it is Broadway or tour of another major show. People were wondering if he was going to Hamilton in the comments
The info on the site is incorrect. Ryan Vasquez is no longer in the Ensemble and he is now the standby. Marc Dela Cruz is now the understudy, ensemble, and James Reynolds, Doctor, Phillip Schuyler
I'd like to see the Chicago production once more before it closes. I have yet to hear anything about Nikki Rene Daniels as Angelica, and Akron Watson as Burr.
