Seriously, I was online the exact second they went on sale. Did they sell 98% of the tickets during the Amex presale?

I was online the exact second they went on sale, too. They even had a countdown. Then I got "loading" for like thirty seconds until the map appeared, and there was nothing under $329.

I wonder what percentage they sold "presale" It is absolutely crazy how hard it is to get a ticket to this show! I guess Ill just have to do the Cancellation line to see it again! I was hoping to maybe get something when they went on sale!

To whom (and you know who you are) it may concern :
I am DONE. My desire to see Hamilton has been sucked out of me. Premium tickets will NEVER happen for me. All I see are seats for $549. The whole onsale by "TicketBastard" has produced a new low. The general ticket buying public never had a chance. I will NEVER pay a scalpers price...
You should just get your tickets through BroadwayCares. Sure you're paying $600 each (and they have to be bought in pairs), but the majority of the $600 is tax-deductible and the money goes to a great cause as opposed to a scalper.
to those complaining about prices: I am sincere when I say this but if it disgusts you that much, either move to a country that is not founded on free market capitalism or make a financial sacrifice to buy the ticket. if you want to see it bad enough and cannot wait, then spend the money. if not, then you have no right to complain. seeing theatre... and one show in particular... is not a right -- it is a luxury.
The final week of January 2017 was just put on sale and it was not available during the pre-sale. I just got a regular priced mezzanine ticket for Saturday night, the 28th.

yes, it's entirely reasonable to suggest moving TO ANOTHER COUNTRY because you don't like the existence of a parasitic industry (ticket scalping).
i love the US and i love capitalism, but let's not pretend capitalism or any other form of government is perfect. capitalism creates opportunities for ****ty behavior too. i'm not calling for them to be executed or persecuted by the government. i'm saying they are ****ty rent-seeking parasites. just because it's legal doesn't mean it doesn't make you an asshole. sorry if that includes you. but not really.

I couldn't even fathom paying $100 for rear mezz, a much worse seat than what I had when I saw it at the Public. (Which I paid full price for.)
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

agreed, thanks much. at least i got $329 tix instead of $549, and at least it's not going to the foul scalpers.
