Well the Winter Garden stage is pretty wide so I’m guessing that I think it can definitely hold a lot
Regardless of where this goes, I hope it’s happening! Missed this by just a few days last yeaR and the reviews were ecstatic. We really don’t get enough of Shakespeare’s comedies in New York.

Muchadobroadway.com which I would guess the website to be based on the other Jamie Lloyd URLs was just registered on 12/09, so something is happening.

Hiddleston elevates this above the Jamie Lloyd confetti shtick. He shines like the star he is and makes it one of the funniest, most entertaining Shakespeares.
It is Bard-light, but as theatrical event it works wonders.

I don’t feel like he elevated Betrayal… I thought that was a snooze.

Well, this is loud, fast and excessive, anything but boring.

In London, this Much Ado played at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, which seats 2100+. Due to star power, reviews and word of mouth by its final weeks, the show was selling out. The 2-month limited run may have also played a part.

Didn’t realize the London run was so short - I’m guessing if we only get 8-10 weeks (given the star power and West End reviews), they should be able to fill the Winter Garden.

Not 100% certain that Hiddleston and Atwell are in the new Avengers movie, but I suspect there will be a promotional blitz from all the cast in November and December.
I would think (given the scheduled run of Salesman) that Much Ado would be arriving in late summer/early fall. I’d think that this would certainly mean a crazy busy end-of-the-year for the two stars.

I just checked and yes Hiddleston AND Atwell are slated to be in Avengers: Doomsday. Since it's pretty much common knowledge that the press tour for it is gonna be insane, I definitely think late summer/early fall run seems about right...
Not for anything but so far there around 30 confirmed actors for Doomsday, so far, more than enough to share the wealth if they wanted to just stick to more local publicity opportunities.

Yeah, and the movies are Infamously shot in bits and pieces and then assembled (heh) in the editing room to accommodate the massive casts and try and quell potential spoilers. There are a number of reports of the actors having no idea what movies they were in or how big their part would be until they actually saw the final product.
There should be little trouble finding time for Tom to shoot his scenes around a stage production.
