I was told by someone in the box office that there will be $25 seats in the orchestra (likely partial view) going on sale soon.

Thank you!! Got a ticket for 8/15, personally, don't mind PV at that price

I already bought the the $90 seats they have available in rows G and H of the mezzanine (I.e. the small rows of three at the ends). Anyone know why those are full view, but the ends of closer rows are partial? (Did that sentence make sense?)

I had one slot left for my August trip, and was thinking about rushing TKAM, but decided I couldn't pass up a $36 (after fees) guaranteed seat for this. Grabbed Mezz Row A Seat 28. Not sure how leg room is up there, but at least I'll be on the aisle.

Were these same seats partial view for The Ferryman, I wonder? I'm really not going to complain for the price, but I am hoping that it's partial view due to side action on the stage (and thus not partial view ALL the time) and not due to a light fixture or something that will be in the the way through the whole show. My best guess is maybe the box seats obstruct the side of the stage? But the higher rows can see over those seats? I've never been in the theatre so I'm just speculating

I also grabbed a ticket for October. I saw The Color Purple from the side of the mezzanine and can’t remember anything being partial view but I’m definitely curious how partial these will be since they are so cheap. I don’t think any lighting fixtures will be in the way.

They were partial view for The Ferryman, but that set had a lot to it. This is the set for Betrayed, so I can't imagine they'll be significantly obstructed:

If anyone is still looking for the $25 partial view seats, Telecharge has released the far sides of mezzanine row B for early dates.

Is there more to the production or is it simplistic?

Is there "more to the production" than what?

Like set pieces etc or is it just a blank wall and chairs the whole time? Just curious before I get a ticket.

Just the chairs and a table at certain scenes. They’ve got a revolve. And the wall is just blank but they are working with lights and shadows a lot.

This is not selling particuarly well.

And i didnt think it could be any more boring then the last production and then I see that set, over this minimalism thing on broadway

Where are you getting that from?  The few performances I've checked look pretty well sold -- especially the good orchestra locations.

Audience Rewards has this up for $54 + 1500 points for Select Orchestra seats. Dates in September.

I did this for The Ferryman and was seated side orchestra in a full view seat. But it ended up being partial view due to a very tall man seated in front of me.

For a split second, I was afraid the let Deborah Cox back on Broadway.  Bone-chilling.

For the 8/15-17 performances, they've lowered rear mezzanine left and right rows H-K to $25.

Actually, on Friday 8/16, they've lowered the entire rear mezzanine left and right, rows E-K, to $25.

Geometry.  If you are on the extreme side, you are going to see more of the stage from further back.

The worst seats I ever had in a theatre were when I saw Tommy decades ago. I was all the way on the side in the 2nd or 3rd row of the orchestra of the St. James Theatre (for which I paid full  price).  I missed half of the show and was so frustrated that I didn't enjoy the show at all.  Yet, via TKTS, I have seen a number of shows on the extreme sides of the rear orchestra and mezzanine, and had a full view.

I would anticipate that those seats will be perfectly adequate, especially since I would expect most of the the action to take place center stage.

I hadn't seen this thread and I just stumbled onto the $25 ticket deal by checking their twitter to see if they had announced a rush policy.  For the couple of performances I checked during the week of 9/10, the week after opening, there were a number of side orchestra tickets in the first 6-8 rows available for $25, usually the first 2 or 3 seats in from the far end. $36.50 with fees if you can't make it to the box office to buy them. If you've been waiting for the $25 orchestra seats, go get 'em.
