If you could choose a CELEBRITY to play Belle in BATB who would you choose...now they have to be able to sing and act as well.

My choose: Janet Jackson...she could probably play the role well in my opinion.

yeah, I'm sure Disney would love to have Anne Hathaway play Belle after the release of her new movie "Havoc" in which she explicitly bares it all.

trpguyy---true, but i believe that New Line cinemas is sending it straight to DVD, so you never know, and everyone under 10 knows her from ella enchanted and pd 1&2

I'm with Anneliese from "Raven..." Sadly, I STILL have a lovefor Disney shows at age 19. I think Anneliese is adorable, and on an episode the other night, the kids were singing, and she has a FABULOUS VOICE!!

I third Anneliese. I enjoy her voice, and she's a GREAT actress. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard at a Disney series before. I don't know what's she's still doing inside a TV studio, but she's gotta skedaddle over to Broadway.

I have to second the Janet Jackson! I could TOTALLY see her doing it. Although, I dont know if she could pull off "Is This Home", one of my FAV. songs from the show.
