Brutal choice...ouch.
Musical: Maria or Anita from WSS...IMO, greatest musical ever.
Play: Maggie from "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof"....or Helena from "Midsummers"...this is too hard. I must stop.

Firstly, it's impossible to choose...
Secondly... I'm going to have to break it down into categories (and I can't even narrow it down to one in each!)
Musical: Judas in JCS (would totally work with a girl)
Clara in Piazza
Florence in Chess
Play: Maggie in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof
Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing
I'm a girl, but I would love to play either Freddy in DRS or Jamie in The Last 5 Years. I would also want to play Mark's role in RENT just because I always love the narrator in a play or musical for some odd reason. Just intrigues me. I just love those roles.
I would either play Elphaba in Wicked or Amneris in AIDA.

On Broadway now: most definately Mark.
I'd also LOVE to play Curtis Taylor, Jr in Dreamgirls, but, alas, I don't exactly fit the physical criteria for the role.

The Baker in Into the Woods, if I ever had the chops. As I am now, probably Leaf Coneybear or Count Carl-Magnus in ALNM.

Hands down, no question, Cathy in "The Last 5 Years." Absolutely adore that role. Of course, if cast, I would have to get my ass down to the stage door at DRS and beg (on my knees) Norbert to be my Jamie.
I'd want Mark in RENT, Judas in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, The Wizard in WICKED, Jean Valjean in LES MISERABLES, or The Phantom in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA!

This is easy enough. I'd choose Eponine for multiple for reasons. For one thing, it's one of my dream roles to begin with, for several reasons. My Broadway/London idol, Frances Ruffelle, played this role, and I want to follow in her footsteps. Also, I adore her character in the book, 'cause in the book she has to endure much more than an unrequited crush on Marius, and I admire her for that.
For another thing, if I pulled it off it would lead to the teenage masses wanting more from me. That way, I wouldn't have to play more than one role on Broadway. To cement my fame, I would then play Elphaba in Wicked when I came of age even though "Wicked", although it's fun enough to sing in the car, is just an average musical. Then, I would be free to do as I pleased, including playing Mrs. Lovett in (another) revival of "Sweeney Todd". It's a sure-fire way to success, don'tcha think?

I've ALWAYS wanted to play a female MC. Always.

Dot, from Sunday... hands down.
Javert in Les Mis.
I'm a very short teenage girl. But i can dream...
Either John Wilkes Booth or the Balladeer, but not at the same time... because the Ballad of Booth is one of my favorite songs.
And then there's John Hinkley, because Unworthy of Your Love.. awww (enough said.)
Maybe Radames, only because he's the poster child for sappy love triangle musicals.
o wow..hmm
my number one choice i think i would go with Jo in little women her character is totally similiar to me, and my vocal quality is quite similiar to sutton foster.
but i would love to play mimi-rent or elphaba-wicked just because i think mimi's charcter is quite exciting and riskay..and elphaba's range is so impressive i mean hitting a high e-flat belt in defying gravity to a low e in not that girl..who wouldnt want to play elphaba? lol
seriously though, gimmie the female lead in about any b-way musical and that's the role i'd play ha, ha

Oh gosh. I honestly don't know if I could just choose one. Ahhh.
My first choice would probably be Freddy from Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. I love that part.
Then afterwards, maybe Lumiere, Bobby Strong, Marius, or Robbie Hart. :)
Kim in Miss Saigon, although I'm 5'11" and blonde so I'm not sure how that would work out...
Ellen in Miss Saigon
I have a few:
Mary Lane from "Reefer Madness"
Sally Bowles from "Cabaret"
Julia Sullivan from "The Wedding Singer"
if I had to pick one...The Wedding Singer. Just because it would be the most fun to be a part of.
Currently on Broadway: Clara in LITP (yeah, right)
OR
Julia in The Wedding Singer(that one sounds more reasonable)
Ever: Cinderella in Cinderella or Into the Woods
