Thank you jimmycurry01 for defending me!
Showface, thanks for now understanding I can talk about what I want even if it's not what everyone else is talking about. I actually think it could still be Rapunzel's cape in the Witch's hands. If you don't see that, then we are seeing things differently and disagree.
Poor Rapunzel's Prince...always the "other" prince. But those posters are great!

I don't know why, but the Rapunzel photo made me bust out laughing. But yeah, these aren't good.

Looking at it again it definitely looks like she's been trampled by a giant.

Yeah but why does Johnny Deep LOOK like he's wearing gloves. Is that just part of the concept they were going for or....?

It is funny.
That's how it is because it would take up too much space to put Cinderella's Prince and Rapunzel's Prince.

At first I didn't like the posters, but now I LOVE them (though I wish we got a different photo of the Witch)
Interesting that Rapunzel looks dead...hmmm...
SO EXCITED that the trailer comes out tomorrow!
LOL at "The Other Prince"!
Anyone else notice that we usually get images or details on the film on Wednesdays and footage usually on Thursdays?
This film will be great! I'm so excited...
Also, @ShakinBaconGirl
It's obvious what I'll do when the film premiers:
See it a billion times
Review it
Wait for the DVD
Then...life will be fulfilled...

"THE OTHER PRNCE"
ROTFL
And I love how everyone in the posters is just exploring in the woods, and then there's Rapunzel!

Showface, Remember to not set your expectations too high for this. Yes everything looks bright and sunny now, but we still don't even know how the actors sound while singing. We don't even have a full length trailer yet. There is still so much that could go wrong *cough* Depp's cosume *cough*. Les Mis looked like it would win Best picture at this point in the year also. I don't want ITW to fail, but It seems like you might be falling into a trap most people fall into when they get this excited for a film. I hope I'm proven wrong about ITW. I really do.

I love Rapunzel -- it seems so deliberately evocative of Hurrell or Clarence Bull, real golden-age Hollywood glamor fantasy.

I still really hope Rapunzel dies. It just seems to take so much away if she lives.

I agree with NoName - most of these are perfectly fine, but the Rapunzel one is gorgeous. And, yes, they're much better as hi res stills than as those cheesy animated GIFs.

Meryl actually looks like the EW Cover, and she looks damn good.

The movie looks good! The songs <333 and Red inside the wolf made me go: "WOAH" But this trailer was poorly edited..

Yeah, have to agree, something's off with the way this was edited. I know there is a LOT of plot in ITW, but it felt so schizophrenic. The teaser trailer was much stronger. I also wonder if using that much of the title song might be a bit of a turn off to potential audiences. In the theatre, the bouncy sing-songy'ness of the title song works so well because there is a knowing wink. Without that playfulness, though, it sounds almost silly in the trailer. I'm surprised they didn't use any of the more affecting, dramatic and well known melodies from the score - No One Is Alone, Children Will Listen, a flash of Last Midnight with Meryl, perhaps.
Ah, well. It LOOKS great. Can't wait.

Okay, perhaps I was a bit too fast to judge. I'd be very curious to hear what people who are completely unfamiliar with ITW think. I imagine it might seem quite confusing. But, 4 views later and it's working really well for me - especially the second half. Love the shot of post-transformation Streep looking over her shoulder.

I love it.
But the giant's hands bother me. They look like giant Cabbage Patch Kids hands.

I can't be the only one who thought this?

Streep sounds stunning, can't wait. Plus the film looks beautiful.
Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist.
Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino.
This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more.
