I'm trying to think of all the Jewish broadway stars and have so far come up with: Idina Menzel, Shoshana Bean, and Harvey Fierstein, Marissa Janet Winokur. I'm having a brain toot though and can't think of any others. Anyone want to add onto this list??
This would be the longest list. First I think of Mrs. Brolin and Molly Picon, then I think of Zero Mostel and ... I think perhaps Link got that right, name who isn't.

Barbra Streisand, Joel Grey, Jerry Orbach, Zero Mostel, Marc Kudisch, Mandy Patinkin, Chip Zien, Carol Lawrence, Jenna Leigh Green... Updated On: 1/1/06 at 10:27 PM
Jenna isn't either, Elphaba3. Her dad's dad was (hence the Jewish last name) but his mom was Catholic. Her mom was raised Christian and so was she. I know this because she took off personal time from the tour around the Jewish High Holidays so I assumed so as well. She set me straight when I wished her an easy fast! I have no idea why it would matter, But I always get a laugh when Adam Sandler sings a new version of his "Hannukkah Song" (i.e. OJ Simpson, NOT A JEW!)

Ethel Merman isn't Jewish. I was watching "Theater Talk" the other night and Arthur Laurents said Merman would get upset when people thought she was Jewish.
