"Megan is doing Vanities in Palo Alto from June 21st through July 16th. Prior to that, I think she's just going to take a vacation and relax."

I believe she's touring, along with a special someone, come September when Julia's and Kendra's contracts are up.

Nothing has been confirmed about Megan joining the tour. Personally, I hope she doesn't. She needs to distance herself from the role before she starts getting typecast.

Why turn down work though? Its all very well to avoid being typecast but unless you know you have something else to go to its a bit daft to walk away from a paycheck.

Well if Ana IS coming back to WICKED, I see her more as doing the L.A. sit down where she can have Hollywood types come out and see her.

As for Kate... I wish her well but I was rooting for Katie Adams to get the part next.

I too agree that Hilty should do other things to avoid getting type cast, but if the rumors are true, her joining the tour isn't a long term thing. Her and Shoshana Bean are rumored to be doing three stops only: Portland (September 6th-17th,) Seattle (September 20th- October 1st,) and Toronto (October 6th- November 19th.)

After Toronto, the tour has a short break until the new year in January, where it starts up again in Rhode Island. This break will give the producers time to cast new full time replacements for the roles of Elphaba and Glinda and rehearse them properly...

It is no cooincidence that Portland happens to be Shoshana's hometown, and Megan grew up in the Seattle/Washintgon area, so those are only perks for them to do it...

It definitely is NOT official. I asked her myself on Tuesday, and she said that she still isn't sure yet if she's doing the tour.

As far as Shoshana Bean doing it, that's even more of a long shot. At least Megan has expressed interest in doing the tour...Shoshana, as far as I know, never has.

True as that may be Shoshana and Megan are very close, and I am almost positive the Megan can coax Sho into doing the tour. Especially now that Sho isnt really working.

I'm really happy to hear Kate is going to join the NYC cast... She was great in Chicago and we've got tickets to see in October... Can't wait to see her again!

She was also working on her album when in Wicked in New York. You dont really have to be in LA to do it anymore.

Hehe I knew about this a while ago I am so happy that she is going to Broadway... she is such a talent and nice as well... I only wish her the best of luck!
