My first thought was rehearsing with Lea.

Thanks. At least his timing is better this time.

What a horrible thing to say. Is there a GOOD time to get Covid? Only when you're seeing it he better be on, right? Jesus.

I thought his standby was terrific last night, for what it’s worth.

Didn't say how big of a change though in terms of the new lines. I'm thinking the new choreo is mostly for Rat-Tat-Tat-Tat? They probably toned down the tap dancing for the lead to help Lea once she starts since she isn't really a dancer.

For anyone who watched, how significant were the changes?"

Not sure why she is posting about changes, key changes, etc... I guess the days of the magic all being up on the stage are all gone. I guess this is where the Eve Harrington-esque moments read loud for me. Now don't come swinging at me. I have already said I like her and I am pleased for her success. I guess I am just old school."

I have to say, I was one of Julie's biggest cheerleaders here, but that post left a sour taste in my mouth as well. Your comment about Eve Harrington came to mind. Was tempted to IG her about not whining. She won a battle, but not the war. Wonder if they will clamp down on her now."

Very Eve Harrington .

I haven’t seen it, but was Beanie that good of a dancer that Lea Michelle wouldn’t be able to handle choreography that was created for her, or is Lea Michelle that bad of a dancer that she couldn’t even handle choreography created for a lead who wasn’t really known as a dancer either?

Julie Benko sang the role a half step up from the original score (higher than Barbra actually). It's unusual for a standby to get her own keys, but from the very beginning Julie did - so I doubt they are changing her performance keys to accommodate Lea. It could be that because Lea is a bigger singer than Beanie, they opted to add some modulations to certain songs, that now Julie is having to incorporate.

It doesn't sound like the rumored addition of "My Man" is happening. Why would they implement changes now and further changes after Lea joined?

RippedMan said: "Eh, I don't see anything Benko is doing as shady at all. She's just an understudy in modern, social media times. This show and her situation have def. taken her career to a certain level, and I think she's just sort of leaning into it all. Like sure, we want to know all the changes happening, so she tells us. I don't see it as any ill will.

I think maybe you're all just reading into this instead of just seeing what it is. She's a standby having her moment. Let her feel her oats."

You remind me of the Trumpers . You refuse to see what’s in front of you. I see shades of Eve Harrington everywhere.

I don’t know about Lea, but I do know that they are adding in tap for Tovah.

I went in to see about getting tickets for my mid-October trip. I was surprised how many seats were available for the possibilities, so I decided to take a chance and wait until after Lea is in, possibly reviewed, and we see the pattern that is established.

I then went back to a few performances in September; I saw some that were very well sold, but others that still had 3/4 of their seats unsold. I wonder if this is going to be a case of 'too little, too late', if they are not intending to revamp the show that itself received pretty miserably reviews. I hope not, because I have liked Lea in everything, I have seen her in thus far, and would like her to have some success with a property with which she has been obsessed for years. Time will tell.

Hardly. Projecting much? I just don't see anything that she's posted as catty or trying to undermine anyone. She's just promoting herself and keeping fans abreast of the changes.

Add "My Man" to Funny Girl Broadway Revival"

Enough with this pathetic petitions. This isn’t high school. These childish petitions don’t make things change. Unless you get 6M signatures and get enormous media coverage about that will the producers even consider this. Your 275 signatures ain’t doin’ s**t.

No. not entire score.
