Yeah, you're probably right. But I KNOW I would never want to see it without Stephen. He's been one of my favorite comedians since pretty much forever. Little did I know that he was going to star in one of my favorite Broadway shows and nonetheless get to MEET HIM!

But Amy Spanger is fantastic. She stole the show from Laura (though she was great). I can't imagine another voice for Holly than hers.

Amy Spanger also did a cover spread in DANCE SPIRIT magazine. Wish I could scan the pictures for you but I can't. I got this picture from online though:

yay for people who knew of him before WS!!! re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread. hehe, Comedy Central special five years ago baby!! and last summer I watched the El Rey dvd practically EVERY day when I went on the treadmill :P I forgot to mention it to him when I met him, but if I meet him again I totally am going to, that his comedy is an amazing weight loss program! hehe, cause its the ONLY thing entertaining enough to make me want to run :P every day I was like "YAY, I get to go on the treadmill and watch El Rey!! weeee!" and I was just watching it again yesterday with the commentary.. then the special features. OMG, anyone who has the El Rey dvd, watch Teichs song in the bonus feautures!! seriously, funniest thing in the WORLD thanks to Stephen basically stealing Teichs thunder hehehe. Anyway yeah... stephen lynch comedy is the greatest thing ever re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread.

I figured this was appropriate for this thread:

For those not aware, today was Ms. Benanti's birthday! Happy Birthday to Laura! :)
l love you without knowing how... or when... or from where.
I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride.
I love you because I know no other way than this.

I believe in fate
But it's up to us to follow through

Awesome pictures. Sadly, no Tina Maddigan. re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread.

I'm actually kind of sad at Paris and SNL saying you guys would see something else if Stephen weren't in the show. I mean, I can understand your disappointment, but why wouldn't you give the show your support by going to see it anyway? Besides, Stephen's understudy is a ridiculously talented guy, I'm sure you'd be pleased with him.

And thank you, Fabala, for posting the scans from Modern Bride! I love that shoot and I love that Matt, Christina, and Tracee got into it at least. I can't tell who else from the ensemble is there.

I second thespian geek. Stephen's understudy is an incredibly talented guy and I'm sure he will do a fantastic job when he has to go on as Robbie.

See, instead of making fun of you and your love for Kevin, I backed you up.

muscle- I don't think Tina was part of TWS photo shoot, but here's some from her Mamma Mia! days. ENJOY!

Those pictures are real cute! I never paid attention to anything Mamma Mia but I was re-watching some of the performances on my 2002 Tony tape last week (because I'd just bought the Urinetown cast recording and wanted to watch theirs) and decided to watch Mamma Mia for ****s and giggles and was like "OH MY GOD! TINA!" And then I saw a couple of other actors in the ensemble (Carlos Encinias and Tyler Maynard) during that performance and it had me laughing a lot. That Tony performances was like, all of my various Broadway fandoms colliding in different shows. Weirded me out but in a good way. re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread.

NO! Of course I would still see the show! That's just exaggeration. I would be extrememly disappointed but I would never see anything else. Besides, i'm the one trying begging my friends who are going to NYC to see it so it doesn't drop in sales.

Oh, oops. Sorry. I'm still trying to catch up on the whole thread. I haven't read all the pages through yet. Well....a reminder I guess.

And yeah, I just got back from Borders and I couldn't find Modern Bride (which was kind of strange for me to go up to ask someone where the wedding section was). Are the cast on the cover or is it just some bride?

re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread.

The cast isn't on the cover.

It might not be out everywhere yet - I checked at two Borders here and they still had the previous issue out.
