I really really did not like this. Never has 80 minutes felt so long. It's lazy in every aspect from the writing to the staging to the performances. Schumer is a total miss until she plays herself in the last sequence. Shamos is fine. Benanti is fine as well, but how anyone thinks she could possibly be nominated for this is beyond me. Key is just yelling for the full 80 minutes. This is the most obvious, poorly done cash grab I've seen on broadway in a long time. Thankfully, I bought a 30 dollar ticket off of stubhub an hour before curtain and I'm not even sure if it was worth that much.

Tickets from stubhub shortly before curtain must be printed? And where can you quickly print it near the theater?

For me, Benanti was far and away the best part (what was her first line? I already forget). While I laughed, I thought the humor was pretty cheap.

Tix can be printed at the Stub-hub office on 39th & Broadway. From there it’s an 8 minute walk to the Theater.

Tickets can also be printed at local fedex or staples stores for $.15.  Lost resort ask a concierge for a favor

Well, she was in tonight! And in fine form too. All four in the cast firing mighty high for previews....we laughed until it hurt. Would definitely recommend for a fun night out. Reminded us of a more jovial GOD OF CARNAGE.

Thanks to whomever said to check StubHub for tickets. Was able to get orchestra seats for half the price.

Wasn't sure what to expect from this show, but it was hysterical. I could not stop laughing the entire time. The cast is absolutely fantastic.

At 7:30 last night, there were mezzanine seats for $15 and orchestra seats for $38 on StubHub. I would just keep an eye on the prices during the day. Get to the Times Square area early that way when you buy them you can pick them up and head right to the theater.

I have family in town for Thanksgiving and they want to see Meteor Shower. I was planning to get up at the crack of dawn tomorrow to rush, but we might splurge for Stubhub since the prices are so reasonable. But I've never purchased from StubHub before. Is it trustworthy? I'm skeptical of these low prices.

yes have used Stubhub before.. theyre the best!! I would probably buy them sooner rather than later given the fact lots of people will probably be in town buying

If I had a gun to my head I couldn't explain what this was supposed to be about but I was laughing my behind off the whole time. I was looking around the mezz and there seemed to be a clear divide between those hysterical with laughter and those who were just stone faced. It's a great evening with lots of laughs kudos if you can make sense of it.

I ended up having a great time. First of all, though the seats are tight, there is not a single bad view in the house.

The play is definitely absurdism to a fault, and so it takes a bit of getting used to for those thinking that this would be more of a GOD OF CARNAGE-type of show. There's a lot of (what I perceived to be) flashbacks and do-overs, creating a fractured timeline that can easily give one a sense of deja vu.

The cast is uniformly excellent, though Keegan-Michael Key took a few minutes for me to warm up to, because he arrives with such bombast that you're kind of stunned into a "holy sh1t" mode for a few minutes. I love that Amy Schumer was able to effectively play against type and still be able to mine a bit of her usual humor in that before going into her regular schtick in the last 20 minutes or so. Also, Laura Benanti is an American treasure and there was not a single joke/glare/posture that she didn't land the audience in fits of laughter. I want to carve her Tony statuette now...

The play makes sense at the end once Schumer and Shamos' characters realize that Key and Benanti's character are meant to serve as their id, and force them to confront the anhedonia of their own marriage. The only part I didn't like about that realization was that it was dashed off in a one-liner by Schumer.

Stage Door: As everyone is aware, Schumer does not come out. Benanti came out, but did not sign or take pictures (though she was very friendly and waved a goodbye). Key came out and signed and took pictures with everyone. Nobody recognized poor Shamos, so he thought nobody wanted him to sign and he dipped off (per the door security).

saw this today

it is hilarious but a mess

not sure what the structuring at the beginning is.

thought the subconscious thing was a smart idea but its literally explained in one line of dialogue as the characters get pushed out the door.

And man they were ad libbing EVERYWHERE today which to be honest might be why i enjoyed it so much, at the door someone asked Keegan if parts of the show were improvised "This show is NEVER the same from night to night, sometimes 20% sometimes 70%" man did they burn through it today, we were on the street at 3:22

Saw this tonight via StubHub and was literally in a row with a StubHub CEO and his friends. Fun evening, but nothing too meaty. I thought the performers were all funny, with Shamos being the standout for me for how he completely flips the character.

I was so stoked to see Benati, and she was funny, but not the scene-stealing performance I was expecting. Her and Schumer seemed to have a lot of insider jokes that they laughed at, but not sure they landed for the audience. Not sure I’d carve that Tony just yet... But when her and Schumer “hook up” it was pretty great! Benati just seemed subdued compared to the rest. Wasn’t expecting that

Direction was weird. Sometimes complete blackouts, sometimes spotlights on characters, etc. I like absurditst theater, so I enjoyed it! But def. not something you see much these days!

I can see them all getting nominated though. Can we have Schumer and Benati host the Tonys?! I’d love it. They have great chemistry.

Really didn’t “get” this one. Some good jokes and performances but left slightly confused and mostly unimpressed.

I think you either dig absurdist comedy, or you don't. Doesn't mean anything good or bad.

I thought the play and all four performances were utterly brilliant. One of the best I've seen in years. Martin handled the absurdity perfectly (for me).
