I personally think that the tour is superior to the Broadway production. Everybody is just so much more energetic, and wonderfull. I even think the Eden was much better on tour.

I agree that the show has lost some of it's magic, but that loss came in my opinion with the cast changes in January. Maybe I'm biased because Shoshana/Megan/David/Ben were MY original cast, but as much as I LOVE Megan, and I really, really do, I just can't bring myself to want to see Wicked again. And as much as I hate to admit it, I saw the show 14 times with Shoshana and Megan, I just loved them both so much. I've seen it once with Eden/Megan/Derrick and I was so bored. If it wasn't for Megan I might've left at intermission.

Michelle was absolutely amazing in the role. In stead of belting out the song, like most Nessas do, Cristy really acts it out. She also does a great job, but I miss Michelle's belts. (They had rhinestones! jk)

not trying to be rude, but some of you confuse me. last year many talked about how shoshana was no idina. when shoshana left many on the boards seemed happy to see her go because they felt the show became stale. now you are doing the same thing with eden and are comparing her to sho. this is also the first time i’m really hearing how great sho and megan's chemistry was. not saying it wasn’t since i haven’t seen them. but i am seeing a pattern here. maybe things are just better in hindsight.

I don't know about everyone else but I never liked Idina, I've always loved Sho and Megan since I first saw the show, and I've never said anything negative about either of them. But I'm sure you're right...sometimes you don't know what you got till it's gone. re: Megan Hilty

Just to clarify (at least from my point of view) Megan and Shoshana had terrific chemistry even though I personally couldn't stand the way that Shoshana played Elphaba. I haven't seen Megan and Eden together yet, but Megan is a riot.
Whatever happened to class?

Woah...Megan and Eden have really good chemistry in my opinion. They work really well together and by For Good they just nail it. Also Megans popular makes Eden crack up (which shows they like each other) but Eden kinda turns it into somthing her character would do. Kinda like a sarcastic laugh.

I thought Megan Hilty was adorable.

Cutest Glinda in my opinion, and I love her hair during Popular.

And she's a doll at the stage door.

Actually Megan returns tomorrow! Katie was scheduled to go on tonight.
What is your dream role?
My dream role would be to be myself. To be performing at the Hollywood Bowl and to have an audience there just to see me, as Stephanie. They are there because they like what I do as a singer, an artist and a person (the last being the most important). I enjoy escaping and portraying other characters, but to be accepted and wanted as yourself... that's amazing! --Stephanie J. Block Just one of the many reasons I admire and respect Stephanie!!

My sister and I actually have seen Wicked twice in the last six weeks or so and we had no intention of seeing it again for a while. But when I heard that Megan was leaving the end of May . . . we may have to see it again in early May before she goes. She is just amazing, in my opinion anyway! So happy and funny and bubbly!

I'm not going to lie. I like Michelle. She has a great voice, and is such a sweetheart.. HOWEVER, I'm not at all sad that she left. Cristy Candler is amazing as Nessa.

I agree. It's nice to see someone else in the role. I think that Cristy is amazing in the role and plays it very different than Michelle. I still love michelle but I think it was time for her to move on.

so, going back to Megan's vacation, would that mean that she wasn't there on 25th? Sorry, but i wasn't aware of her vacation and had friends going to the show that day.
