Saw this first on Instagram, and now found it online as well at oz.wikia.com. Thoughts? Is it true? Or just a rumor?
One hundred percent rumor... Wish it were true.
Ooh, I wish Megan could. But there's this thing she's doing called Smash that might make it a little hard. (Then again, she did Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, so what do I know?)
Ah Emma, you're attempt at snark is cute and funny. Smash is over, so there is a chance that it could happen. She'd need work. But, I do think that it would be doubtful that she'd return to Wicked.
Darn, that's a shame. Megan is my favorite Glinda, and I would love a chance to see her again somewhere other than the bootleg I found on YouTube.
Why would they WANT to be involved in such a HATED show as "Wicked".....

Bringing us the Hilty is my only positive thought of Wicked

Oh, how I wish this were true.
I would love to see Hilty go off the rails again with Popular. She REALLY milks it in a few of those bootlegs on youtube. I can't imagine the song being done any other way now.
I am sure Megan would jump off the train wreck known as Smash for anything right now...what a waste of talent..: (

Eden and Megan were my favorites.
The only problem is that I don't think Eden can hit those key notes anymore.
I can't imagine the producers of Wicked care. Unless they're opening a brand new sit down of the show, why bring in old cast members? The show is making a ton of money. Bringing in old favorites isn't going to get any more butts in the seats.
Eden confirmed it as a rumor on twitter... Though shame on you if you believed it at all. No offense but come on. megan Hilty is likely at the peak of her exposure, why would she take ten steps backwards?
Shame on you all for believing in it at all....it was posted on April 1st.

They both are fantastic performers...but aren't they both a little too old for the parts?!
They are about the same age now as the original leads were when they opened on Broadway
Who would want to sit through Eden's Elphaba ever again? The bootlegs on YouTube of her signing the role are horrible.
So you are saying, DEClarke, that you are judging her performance without ever having seen it live?
