On Broadway.com's Periscope right now, they have found out there is a new musical announcement expected tomorrow and a hint was that Paul Wontorek had seen it... it was not (among guesses):
Hunchback
Heathers
Charlie/Chocolate Factory
Carousel
First Wives Club or Heart of Robin Hood?
A new Wildhorn show?
a hint was that Paul Wontorek had seen it
That's not a very good hint since Paul Wontorek sees pretty much everything..."
He also gave a hint that it has booked the Nederlander when asked "if he was sad Honeymoon in Vegas closed."
It is going into the Nederlander (Paul said).
Heart of Robin Hood is more of a play with music - the songs do not advance the plot or convey the feelings of the characters - they are more like colour commentary on the side in song form by a band that is separate from the speaking cast.
Amazing Grace
Maybe they faked everyone out & it will turn out to be Hunchback after all.

If REBECCA ever happens...hopefully, it will go in the Broadhurst as the sets were built specifically for that stage-theatre.
As much as i hope its heathers its not going to happen.

If those sets still exist!
My money is on Amazing Grace as well .... they've got good financial backing and are ready to go.

Both Heart of Robin Hood and Hunchback are dead.
It may be a coincidence but Mama is closing there early September. With all the baggage the show (Rebecca) has, better not to open it as it will be called a Wildhorn clone in addition to all its legal problems.
if it's the Nederlander, Amazing Grace is probably the show. Especially if it's a new show. Possibly the First Wives Club. Oh or maybe Bull Durham?

I would love for Amazing Grace to be announced! I loved the show when I saw it in Chicago! I wouldn't mind FWC either! ??
Telling from these reports here, it's Amazing Grace

My guess is Hunchback but PLEASE let it be Amazing Grace so I can see my future husband be shirtless whenever I want
"Miss Saigon?"
It can't be because Cameron Mackintosh normally has a good relationship with the Shuberts.
Considering that tomorrow is a REALLY bad choice of a day to announce a new show for next season, my guess would be the one show mentioned that has a lead producer with zero Broadway producing experience, Amazing Grace. Here we go again.
