I don't know why we're being coy about it, he's named Liz Gilles and Milo Manheim.

Nickelodeon/Disney kids but talented. Gilles was also on the remake of Dynasty, and Manheim is the son of Camryn and was on Dancing with the Stars. Theater-wise, Gilles was in 13 and Manheim just finished Deaf West’s American Idiot.

Most people have no clue who these two are.

Liz has some good recognition from TV but she is largely famous for being Ariana Grande's best friend, imo. She's very talented in her own right, but the friendship has not hurt.
I didn't see the Deaf West IDIOT, but the people I know that did said that Manheim was in great voice and played very well against Mason Alexander Park.

He’s got 3 million Instagram followers and she has nearly 14 million… so some people know who they are.

It is so much easier to just look people up instead of highlighting how old and out of touch you are.
Milo and Liz would be the most exciting casting I’ve seen in this production, inclusive of the original cast.
I happened upon Milo in the Disney Channel musical movie Zombieland. I’ve been disappointed by most DC musical movies (including HSM), but Zombieland was surprisingly charming, had eye-catching art direction, and told a relevant story from a parallel perspective - give it a try. I then opted to catch him in American Idiot in LA and, as others have suggested, he did great. I think he’ll be a name to watch of up and coming leading men.
Liz has the voice of an angel and the appropriate demeanor for a great Audrey. The playfulness she expresses in music with Seth MacFarlane makes me hopeful that she and Milo would be a really fun duo to watch on stage.

Absolutely. Ariana was recently asked about possibly playing Meg in the live action remake of Hercules and she replied “it should be Liz Gillies”.
I guess it’s official now that those two will start performances on 2/25. I’ll need to look them up because I’ve actually never heard of them before this discussion.

Liz Gillies and Milo Manheim Bonded as Ex Child Stars in 'Little Shop' (Exclusive)

Has this run longer than the original production? It has to be close.
The original run was 2209 performances over roughly 5.5 years.
While this one has technically been “open” longer, there were also hundreds of performances lost to COVID.
Based off the thousandth performance on 10/20/2023, a very rough estimate currently puts them around 1,616 performances.
TL;DR - If not for COVID, it would likely be the longest running
you're gonna see this run for the next 30 years though, It's the newest mainstay and it's not leaving.

This song is so good!
A stage full of people I never heard of come off so great!
Liz Gillies, Milo Manheim, and Company perform "Skid Row (Downtown)" from Little Shop of Horrors
Joe Locke...He would be perfect-look and voice. There was a performer in Heartstopper who played Sally in London.
Both great for advertising
I was hoping to grab tickets to this while I’m in NYC during Milo and Liz’s final week - $410 a ticket?! And strangely the seats further back on the side are $460, which doesn’t make much sense to me.
I’m not as surprised to see high prices like this when it’s the last few seats of a show with a big or hot name (Adam Driver or Paul Mescal) but I’m surprised that these two are pulling in that kind of premium on tickets for an off-Broadway show that’s been running for several years already and on its fourth or fifth cast.

Someone has to be punching us with those prices! I mean I see that people would pay high prices for George Clooney or Denzel Washington, but Milo Manheim and Elizabeth Gillies? Love them both, but this feels like it should be a computer error. Especially with nearly still a month left in their run.
