I’m terrible at catching changes on these sort of recording releases. Can someone help me understand the differences? The background music seems “louder” if that makes sense.

It sounds fantastic. The orchestrations are so crisp and I’m hearing nuances I never heard before. I felt like I was hearing My Psychopharmacologist and I for the first time. And I’m relieved to report that the autotune in I Am the One has been removed! I can’t wait to listen to the whole thing all week and discover more.
I suppose there are subtle differences if I compare the same tracks one after the other. If anything to my ear and my AirPods the vocals sound closer and more compressed less open. I'm not sure that's a good thing. There are moments when the band sounds more prominent.

And I’m waiting on a cast recording. I’m losing hope."
I have no idea why they have not announced it yet. Maybe we will get it after it closes? Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't the OG West End cast of Heathers not release a cast album till months after it closed?
The idea is to work and to experiment. Some things will be creatively successful, some things will succeed at the box office, and some things will only - which is the biggest only - teach you things that see the future. And they're probably as valuable as any of your successes. -Harold Prince
They probably recorded it already, as Cassie said in a post on Instagram today that she's leaving soon after the show ends. Her kids are heading back to the States for school. I also wonder if we could possibly be waiting till the show transfers to New York (if it does), kinda like what Sunset is doing right now.

I heard a couple of months back that is the plan for this season."
Would this go in the booth?"
It would make sense as it is: 1.) the OG Home of N2N and 2.) similar in capacity with the Wyndhams in London. I am sure the creative team wants a small, intimate venue for this production.

Saw this twice in the past two days. Truly truly phenomenal in all aspects. Levy/Wolfe/Cox in particular were insanely good and absolutely need to transfer. I wanted to like Jamie Parker, and his acting was generally terrific, but unfortunately his American accent sounded more like an impression of Kermit the Frog (sorry!).

Wow. We couldn't have hoped for a better outcome. That is AMAZING!!!!
"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022)
"Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009)
"Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000
This just made me more excited to see it next week!

Eleanor Worthington Cox apparently left mid-show on Thursday and the alternate/understudy is on Friday. Hopefully Worthington-Cox will be fully healthy on Monday for the filming.
This news also may mean that there will be no cast recording and no transfer to Broadway. That said, I'm very excited for the pro-shot to be available soon!

I'm assuming you mean next season as in 25-26 instead of next season as in winter of 24-25?
Either way I finally got the privilege of seeing this last week. What a fantastic show. Caissie Levy and Jack Wolfe are the standouts for me - absolute top notch acting and vocals from them both. I hope they both stay with any supposed transfer.
Levy missed her first performances today (two show day, off for both). They filmed Monday-Wednesday I believe and Thursday off.
