Astronomy... but I guess I can consider Theatre Audience as my minor. As much as I love theatre, my heart belongs to the science side of life... which works out for the good: I've seen enough musicals to sing my way through the cold freezing nights when I am out in my little observatory doing long exposure astrophotography.
I've come this far with the truth of the heart. Deep down inside I think we're all the same. Try not to judge and never shame... I do believe people are good... they just want hope and respect... to be understood ~Melissa Etheridge
Never studied acting, save for a few theater classes in college (intro the theater and acting for non majors) and never even wanted to go into acting...but I love watching plays and musicals and thoroughly enjoy them...but me? I graduated with a BA in Communications.

My high school has majors and I major in Creative Writing.
1. Ted Allen: Everyone has an interesting life if you ask the right questions.
2. Great buckets of Spoffnor, they're going to sing!
3. "I love shrubs that are historical." -Johnny and The Sprites
4. "We're not singing it to you, we're singing it for us." -Rosario Dawson, about La Vie Boheme
5. "The best moments in reading are when you come across something - a thought, a feeling, a way of looking at things - which you had thought special and particular to you. And now, here it is, set down by someone else, a person you have never met, someone even who is long dead. And it is as if a hand has come out, and taken yours." -The History Boys
6. "Pass the parcel. That's sometimes all you can do. Take it, feel it and pass it on. Not for me, not for you, but for someone, somewhere, one day. Pass it on, boys. That's the game I want you to learn. Pass it on." -The History Boys
I'm not a theatre major; I'm planning to major in English. I have every intention of becoming an actor, however, and theatre is my passion. That doesn't mean I have to major in it. It helps that I went to a performing arts high school and majored in Drama for four years, as well as taking outside acting training for six years. I've had plenty of theory, and now I need to gain life experience and put my training into practice, both of which I can do without studying theatre in college. Never underestimate the power of student productions.
I'm am double majoring in Theatre and pre-Law and then planning on going to Law School. As much as I love acting I realize that the chances of me ever making it into a serious career are slim to none because compared to a lot of other people out there I'm really not that good. I know some extremely talented people who have yet to make it and they've been going at it for years. I'd rather just have a stable career to fall back on because everyone knows how tricky life can be.
I was a Cinema Studies major at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Didn't take any acting courses but I did take one on the history of Broadway which was really cool.
I graduated in May with an Associates of Applied Sciences (Office Systems Technology: Administrative Option) which is basically a glorified way of saying secretary
I took Intro to Theatre and Acting I & II for the love of it, and it pushed me back into graduating a year late because I only needed one humanities credit. I wish I got an Associates of Arts but you couldn't major in theatre at my school, it was mostly art and music (and while I'm obsessed with music, I'm just not talented enough)
Elementary Education. I might get a minor in theatre, but focus on direction. I love acting and all that, but I think directing would be more of a challenge. I also like the whole process of putting a show onstage.
It was 6 hours, I don't even like to have sex and eat bacon for 6 hours. Freddy Benson- Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
Animal Sciences--Pre Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University. I really love theater but I cant sing or really act but I love to watch performers because they are so talented.
I am taking a theater class this winter quarter-- learning how to act.
"There are times when were dirt broke, and hungry and freezing and I ask myself why the hell am I still living here?...And then they call!" ~ Mark Cohen RENT movie
I majored in business admin. with a management concentration and I'm in law school now.
I did take a lot of theatre classes as electives. I also try to go to any theater related law classes or seminars in my spare time, since my school isn't offering an arts and entertainment law class this year.
I'm still a high school senior, but as of right now I'm planning on majoring in either physics or biomedical engineering, depending on what schools I get accepted too. I'd love to major in vocal performance, but if I do, my family has resolved to disown me, so I'll just have to be content having music and theater as a recreational aspect of my life at college. (or maybe i could double major/minor?????) lol
I'm training to be a Set Designer for Theatre, but that isn't acting!...although...I AM paying my way through school doing musicals in the summer, so I suppose I am still one of the evil ones.
