That's a change. Martin Landry was originally covering the role for the week. Also makes me wonder if he'll rejoin the show when Jane comes in.

Are they really doing 4 weeks of rehearsal? I thought the current cast got 2 weeks.

I think with regard to casting in this show, there is no such thing as “expected” and the general consensus when someone is cast is usually “YAAASSSS” or “I didn’t even think of them - sounds interesting”. They are older than previous Abes - but there is very little else I can say.

Well, Krakowski will be the oldest performer to play Mary thus far, so it would make sense to pair her with someone a little older, as well.
