Damn. Anyone playing the Tony drinking game? Two perfect opportunities missed.
That Aladdin number was splendid! so entertaining! And WOW that James Iglehart-what a talent! I also loved the Les MIz number. Very entertaining show so far.
And Congratulations to Hedwig and their first award!
SO happy for Lena Hall--she is adorable, and her performance is beautiful. Am I the only one who was completely bored by "Friend Like Me"? Is it drastically better in the show? I just do not get why people love it so much.

Jonathan Groff with the best line of the night! I wonder how Idina feels about the close ups. A little too close for me.

Menzel sounds damn good (so much better than at the Oscars) but I still don't like the score from that show, including this song
Aladdin-you couldnt pay me. A bloated sweating cheap looking genie and cheap garish costumes. Ill pass.
Welp. Now I want to see If/Then just to hear Idina sing the score live. I can say why Inglehart is the favorite to win with a number like that. Well done.

Always Starting Over is my favorite performance of the night so far, Idina sounded great! I was weirdly reminded of Alice Ripley in N2N, there was a similar desperation/jerky movement thing going on. But am I crazy or does that sound completely different than the way she usually sings it?

Anika Larsen didn't have fake happy loser's face when Lena Hall won now did she.
Inglehart seemed a bit out of breath or behind the beat or something, but Aladdin does look fun.
Loved the twist of the knife to John Travolta with "wickedly talented" by Jonathan Groff.
Idina has scariest facial expressions in a Tony performance since Jennifer Holliday. But like Ms. Holliday, Idina sounded great.
Wasn't crazy about the "Aladdin" number either---- was just ok for me

The hell is Eastwood rambling on about
Idina killed it! She sounded amazing!
That was the best live televised performance I've ever seen from Idina. It has replaced her Funny Girl at the Kennedy Center.
Poor Inglehart looked like he could have used an anticoagulant.
All Idina did was make me think about buying the CD.
And the close-ups didn't do her any favors.
Lena Hall, Adam Jacobs, and James Monroe Iglehart are all trending worldwide on Twitter.
