I'm gonna go out on a limb (see what I did there?) and say that in addition to "trolling", you've never actually been to NYC and are just parroting what they tell you on Faux and Newsmax.

I've been to Times Square many times in the past year, including last week, and I have no clue what you're talking about. Are you simply complaining that the theater district is crowded?

Have u seen the cartoon characters? Others hustling for money and using intimidation to shake people down. The shopping mall pushing the palace out of the way. It’s not really that nice of a place.

The Palace is being lifted. If it was getting pushed out of that space, then they wouldn’t have spent all that money to lift it. Instead, they would have renovated The Palace for stores like they did with the Empire (currently the AMC on 42nd).

It won’t be prominent in Times Square anymore.

Central Park is too far, bryan park is fine but walking on 42nd is too crowded, and not in the theatre district. There should absolutely be a park for the community to enjoy. A nice meet up place, they can have events there instead of shubert alley

I look forward to you filing your plans with the city to get your permits to build this park you envision.

Gee—- have you told all of those theatres that are ON 42nd Street that they’re not “in the theatre district”?

Yes, because every city is interested in cultivating land that costs them money to maintain, but generates no income, whatsoever.

During the administration of Mayor John Lindsay, there was a move to have "vest pocket" parks throughout NYC. These were tiny little parks where workers could bring their lunches to or just relax. Some of them were quite charming with fountains and small waterfalls. All of them had drinking fountains. I recall one in the theater district had a walk-through waterfall. (Sortta like a short tunnel).I guess they all disappeared.

Is the Stephen Sondheim Theatre not in the Theater District? Like how much closer would you want?? According to Google Maps it's a total of .1 miles and a 3 minute walk from the Sondheim to Bryant Park (the Belasco and Hudson are also just 1 block further north.

Broadway in Bryant Park happens annually. And theater events have been happening in Times Square for decades.
Moreover, there are quite a number of public spaces east of Broadway between 7th and 6th avenues- in fact, you can easily walk from 41st up to 51st using these spaces and never have to set foot on either avenue.

My thought was really more closer to the west and not the east. i don’t believe there’s really any parks in the theatre district or Hell’s Kitchen. There’s Hudson yards and Lincoln center where people can sit, but that’s far.

Before it was this it was literally littered in porno theatres. Why the yearning for a place to be what it never was when you can just walk 10 minutes to any number of green areas? Manhattan's a big place with a lot of variation. It's okay that Times Square is just outdoor Mall.

Never been this bad? Read up on what the theatre district was like in the 70s and 80s.

He wants a green space so he can just bitch and moan about unhoused people being there instead of on the street. Don't pretend you care about their plight. You just care that you have to look at it.

McGraw-Hill Waterfall? It as far as I know still exists.
