Ultimately I think the reaction from the public will be much more positive than what Sound of Music got. But this isn't going to get the ratings SOM had. I just wish they weren't doing new songs and I am going to miss the ugg-a-wug dance, but I'm sure they will come up with a great equivalent.

The tune / idea of Ugg-A-Wugg is still intact in the new "Blood Brothers" number. It's just supposed to be a lot more PC.

I actually love the cast for this so I'm going in with expectations this time!
Going over a friends house for this for a mini viewing party. Can't wait. (:

As you watch tonight, keep this in mind:
Peter Pan was originally a show for adults. Everyone in that time period understood that the Lost Boys were dead.

The melody of Uggawug is still in the show, the lyrics have just changed. I will miss the Indian dance though.

I wonder if they are going to do a choreography nod to Sandy Duncan dropping her glass eye into an audience member's lap? (Yes, I know, that's just a story. She doesn't have a glass eye).

That the lost boys are dead is one interpretation, but it is not universally agreed upon by literary critics.

Sandra Lee is currently putting voodoo pins in Peter Pan character dolls. Watch for Allison twitching tonite.

Probably a dumb question, I haven't followed this project all that much, but is there an actual audience watching the show?

No. Which makes it difficult because the audience has to clap Tinkerbell back to life. So I guess it's curtains for Tinkerbell.

I think Audra should get an Emmy for this! She was unbelievable as Tinker Bell.

It's okay. We'll just have to Tweet and Instagram to bring Tinkerbell back to life. If #TinkerbellShouldLive trends in 5 minutes nationwide, she get's a happily ever after.

^That doesn't sound even a little bit farfetched.

Here's hoping Christopher Walken does the whole thing with a voice that sounds like an exaggerated Christopher Walken impersonator.
