Hoping Cameron Loyal is NOT Rocky. He reads older than he is.

I need some form of adaptation of SHOCK TREATMENT, preferably a Skivvies concert. That score is full of bangers, including “Little Black Dress” (which I assume is what you are referencing)

Word on the street is that they are holding out for full star A List casting. Most of my queer friends can't even get in the room or their agents say they aren't seeing them. They are holding out for Sabrina Carpenter to be Janet (good luck...)

They can hold out for whomever they want, but that doesn’t mean they’ll get it. I also don’t understand why Sabrina Carpenter is constantly brought up in theater conversations when Olivia Rodrigo isn’t. She literally started in High School Musical. Get that girl on a Broadway stage!

Good luck to them, cause I actually want to see that
Let’s stop a multi million dollar tour (going through April) to star in a revival of Rocky. Makes sense

There have been quite a number of contradictory rumors about casting flying around this production for months.
Stacking the cast with A-listers for this show seems extremely unlikely- even getting one A-lister seems very unlikely now that the plum role has been cast. These aren't at all prestige roles and it's a (comparatively) lower-paying contract with a company with a tight budget.

I didn't say it made sense. I don't think it does! What I do know is they aren't seeing queer performers to the extent that many may think or want...

Didn’t say it makes sense. Doesn’t mean I wouldn’t want to see it

Second that!
They did Shock Treatment in London a decade ago. It was well received, but has not been produced since and is apparently prohibited from being produced, like much of Richard O'Brien's work, due to licensing complications. When he dies, it's likely that the O'Brien estate will be a little less precious about his vast catalogue of non-RHS material.
