Rocky Horror Show Revival Cast — Page 12

Remember, Tim Curry camped it up for the film, whereas onstage he played the role of Frank as a macho, aggressive rocker who just happened to be dressed in lingerie.

I need some form of adaptation of SHOCK TREATMENT, preferably a Skivvies concert. That score is full of bangers, including “Little Black Dress” (which I assume is what you are referencing)

They can hold out for whomever they want, but that doesn’t mean they’ll get it. I also don’t understand why Sabrina Carpenter is constantly brought up in theater conversations when Olivia Rodrigo isn’t. She literally started in High School Musical. Get that girl on a Broadway stage!

Let’s stop a multi million dollar tour (going through April) to star in a revival of Rocky. Makes sense

I didn't say it made sense. I don't think it does! What I do know is they aren't seeing queer performers to the extent that many may think or want...

Second that!

I’ve already heard 3 names for Columbia, Magenta and Riff-Raff and the last of which, I completely lost my mind over and fully convinced me to buy a ticket; Michaela Jaé Rodriguez is playing Columbia, Juliette Lewis is playing Magenta AND AMBER GRAY IS PLAYING RIFF-RAFF!!!!!

Outstanding! I'm assuming he can sing?

Dying to see what the design elements will be like for this production. Hoping for something really new and fresh. The memory of the mousetrap-board-game/movie theater set of the last revival still lives in my brain.

Amber Gray would be incredible as almost any of these characters, but Juliette Lewis is REALLY exciting. Even if its a nonsense rumor."

The most shocking moment in the evening for Brad and Janet is when they discover that their host is an over-sexed, flamboyant, trans person and everything goes downhill from there. If any other character displays these traits before Frank appears, there is no surprise to the lovers. An all female-identifying team of servants wouldn't make sense.
