If what I’ve been told is correct there’s going to be two academy award nominee in this cast.
There's *no way* this is happening, but just fan casting --- Matt Berry would be such a brilliant Narrator. I can almost hear his delivery of the lines and esp. based on What We Do in the Shadows he can play camp so, so well. Maybe one day down the line.
Regardless --- excited to see the full cast. Lots of potential (and regardless, I'm quite looking forward to seeing this production!)

Amy Adams as Columbia.

That narrows is down to about 100 choices.
If there are indeed 2 Oscar nominees in the cast, these are the ones I can think of who are the right types and can sing (or sort of talk-sing for the narrator). I'll be curious to see if any of these names pop up at midnight. Some are probably too famous for a long contract where they aren't "THE" lead.
Janet:
Anna Kendrick, Amy Adams, Jessie Buckley, Amanda Seyfried, Florence Pugh, Emma Stone
Brad:
Timothee Chalamet
Magenta/Columbia:
Danielle Brooks, Stephanie Hsu, Ariana DeBose, Juliette Lewis
Riff Raff:
Kodi Smit-McPhee, Colman Domingo, Austin Butler
Narrator:
Richard E. Grant, JK Simmons, Sam Rockwell, Ian McKellan, John C. Reilly, Jeffrey Wright, Bill Nighy, Colin Firth
I will say one of those names is right but the role is wrong and one is correct. Again, I could be proven wrong so until midnight, it’s all just fun guessing.

Very much agree. Posting a working session clip was a mistake, as it gave people who were already looking for something to attack exactly what they wanted. It’s a working session. People know it isn’t a polished performance, yet some are still pretending they can determine the quality of an entire performance that hasn’t even happened yet from seeing an actor mark some lyrics. All this, so they can declare him miscast and mediocre. It’s the same predictable bad‑faith routine that shows up here whenever people decide that a few seconds of footage are enough to justify acting like ignorant jerks.
You tease! haha.
Hmm...well in terms of swaps I could see Chalamet acting Riff Raff well, but I doubt he can sing it. Austin Butler could do Brad I suppose, but I feel like that would waste his talents. Hsu is the type of actress Pinkleton probably would love to work with, and I could see him casting her as Janet instead. And Colman Domingo does have a distinct vocal quality that would make for a good narrator. Other than those I'm not sure I see any other switches (unless one of the potential Janet's I mention wants to play more of an eccentric character for a change, but it feels like they are all too famous to do Magenta or Columbia at this point).

If Colman Domingo were to be cast as Riff Raff in this and not Frank I will have a rage fit. I'd argue he's much more on everybody's lips than Luke Evans has been in years.
I don’t think they cast a man as Riff.
…I could be so wrong at midnight lol
Chalamet as Brad, Juliette Lewis as Janet, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez as Riff Raff, Amber Gray as Magenta.

I will say Brad is the only one i have no clue about. But rearrange some of those names and characters above, maybe.

MJ Rodriguez as Janet? And Juliette Lewis as Magenta?? (I'd die if Lewis is actually in this).
And ever since I posted that list of potential names above, I can't stop thinking about Anna Kendrick and Amanda Seyfried taking on Janet. I think they are both too big maybe (both of them are way more famous than Luke Evans), but I can see both of them really nailing the camp factor and playing her really well.

Jordan, I enjoy your posts and your insights, but what is the point of cryptically teasing that you know something the rest of us don’t - that you also can’t or won’t tell us…?

Zero chance Chalamet is in this. Insane for someone to even suggest it. Anania said she has a big announcement at midnight, so assuming she's in the cast.

Truly. He’s about to win an Oscar. There’s literally no world where he is involved in this production.
They might not be on everybody's lips, but I would imagine that both actors get as much as they handle. 😉

Along with lips, castle, spaceship, and lightning emojis. She’s clearly involved.
Timothee is not in this production. He is a movie star. People thinking that are delusional.
