We'll see. I hope they prove me wrong...
I feel the opposite of "meh" about this.
I'm not a big fan of Rocky Horror but this cast list has me much more interested in going. Lots of really talented TV and movie actors here - I'll be curious to see how they do on stage.

I agree. The cast is sad and not exciting. Meh"
I don’t 100% agree with your assessment. I think the casting is good and somewhat exciting!! These days, in order to get a bway show up and running for at least 6-8 months, a show needs star power, and this casting announcement certainly checks that box! Can’t wait to see Juliette Lewis and Rachel Dratch!
Maybe I'm too nostalgic from that last revival, that cast was pitch perfect and electric.
This cast to me feels strangely mix and match or "best we could get from what there was", but I'm curious about the direction and concept.
Juliette Lewis should be playing Frank. Then I would be excited for this.
Juliette Lewis Is the only thing exciting about this

I’ve already heard 3 names for Columbia, Magenta and Riff-Raff and the last of which, I completely lost my mind over and fully convinced me to buy a ticket; Michaela Jaé Rodriguez is playing Columbia, Juliette Lewis is playing Magenta AND AMBER GRAY IS PLAYING RIFF-RAFF!!!!!"
this is absolutely not true

I am very excited by this cast, except Amber Gray. I love her but.... eh. I wanna hear a rock tenor on those songs.

No idea how this will turn out, and we each have our own favorites/preferences, but the griping over this cast is wild. Yes, its a shame they didnt land Meryl Streep and Bad Bunny for this, but back in reality, this is an impressive mix of different types of "names"---they will be able to say they have Oscar and Emmy nominated crew of diverse and undeniably talented people. The naysaying here is just silly
Personally, Juliette Lewis, Amber Gray and Harvey Guillen are worth the price of admission. Dratch seems like an inspired idea, could be fantastic. I am underwhelmed by Durand and Hsu but thats nitpicking. Cant wait.
