WOW!
A GREAT supporting cast- Aaron Lazar, Bobby Steggert, Jefferson Mays, Josh Henry.
Don't know Betsy Wolfe, anyone familiar with her work?

Betsy Wolfe was in "110 in the Shade" in an ensemble track (her solo lines were standouts) and I saw her perform with City Ballet this winter as a soloist. I think she did Spelling Bee somewhere as well. She has a gorgeous voice.
ETA: Whoa. Whoa. I just read the actual announcement. I'm pretty excited about this, all around.
Fierce
Great... Erin Davie ruining another good show.

It's quite a cast. They even got Deven May.
This is a fantastic cast.
Here's hoping this materializes into a full scale production, through Roundabout or elsewhere.

Betsy was in Camelot at the Philharmonic with me. She is super nice and amazingly talented and is going to be phenomenal.
I would see this just for the supporting cast.
Sir and Auntie...they were the ones that took care of the twins before they hit the freak show, right? Apparently they were really abusive. The twins sued them and won.
Edit: Should be interesting to see how they work in Houdini!

I saw Betsy in Spelling Bee here in Boston, and she was fantastic.

Totally agree about Betsy Wolfe. Saw her in Boston in BEE and at Paper Mill in Ragtime. She played Evelyn Nesbitt. She was terrific in both.
wow.
Anderson Davis, Deven May, and Julie Reiber... and they're only the supporting cast. this is so awesome.
Betsy was in SPELLING BEE'S sit-down production here in S.F.. She is so pretty and has a great voice...she will be fantastic.
This is one of my favorite shows of all time. I won't even get into how many times I've seen it. The cast looks really interesting though I am somewhat puzzled/intrigued by Aaron Lazar as Terry. I'd give my left toes to see the reading.
"Great... Erin Davie ruining another good show."
Well that is just a marvelous thing for you to say.
Davie did not in any way, shape, or form ruin Grey Gardens. In fact, I thought she was the standout in the first act, not Ebersole.
Davie will be marvelous as Violet just like she was marvelous in Grey Gardens and in Applause. That girl is doing well.

Get out.
"Davie did not in any way, shape, or form ruin Grey Gardens. In fact, I thought she was the standout in the first act, not Ebersole."
Ditto, but to be fair the book is focused on Little Edie in general.
I loved Erin Davie in Grey Gardens, but she was not a standout.
I totally thought "Curtains" had closed back in February.

AMAZING cast.
I loved Erin Davie in Grey Gardens, but she was not a standout.
Yes, she was. Her subtleties were just extraordinary.
How do I get to see this? Haha.
I'll admit that I was never a huge fan of the show (have tried time and time again, but just could never get into it), but WOW, what a cast! Betsy Wolfe and Erin Davie are just both SO perfect.
Betsy Wolfe is pretty fierce.
Davie's pretty firce too, and the whole cast is WAY fierce. I'm excited.
Of note: Daniel C. Levine, who I worked with a couple summers ago. He's awesome.
