Nicole is out, Rashidra on for Norma tonight due to “unforeseen circumstances.”
(double post)
Will the theater do a refund or reschedule if Nicole is out?
Wow, unlucky audience. I hope Nicole is better soon.

Yes to refund. Reschedule may depend on availability since there's not much time left in the run.
There is plenty of availability for the remainder of the run not sure what 'depending on availability' means?
They are still advertising Nicole for the two shows today. I'm guessing they will check in with Nicole and will soon change this if there is a problem.

People sometimes want to exchange for the same seats and complain when they can't get them because they're taken at another performance. It's not that hard.
Mmm that likely won't be an issue if you look at the upcoming seating charts for any performance everyone will be able to be reseated close to their original seats for future performances.

Nicole was on for today's matinee (Saturday 4/12) and sounded fine.
Third time seeing the show (once before in both London and NYC). While Nicole's name may draw people in, I left more convinced than ever that her performance isn't irreplaceable.
Tom Francis commanded the stage even more than I remember. Just a delight to watch.
Was seated in the last row of center mezzanine. Perfect sightlines. No need to pay premium prices to be up close unless that's your thing.

Was nice when I saw Sunset for my third time a month ago it was the first time I saw Tom getting a standing ovation for "Sunset Bvd" at the top of Act II - it was awesome and well deserved. I do wish they had tried to find someone to continue the show post- Nicole. I get how hard that might be and the added pressure it puts on the star, but this is such a tremendous production that it would be wonderful to see another leading lady put her spin on it.
Did they just change booking platform??

It's now saying ATG tickets - I thought Seat Geek was an affiliate of ATG

It's all very weird. I just posted this in the Seat Geek Purchases thread:

Also, it looks like Nicole is off this week. God help the box office - I assume it'll show why they are closing mid-July instead of trying to extend without Nicole.
Sherzinger announced on Instagram that they’ve added another show next Tuesday, 04/22.

It looks like the balcony is closed for the entire week and certain performances you can actually quickly count the amount of seats sold.

This just happened within the last 24 hours. I was just looking for tickets to see Mandy in May on Sunday on Seat Geek. The price went up from $149 to $166 with the switch. I hate ATG's layout.
Well as someone who's been checking pretty frequently to see how many seats are sold by performance time, as of 6:43 on Tuesday night, this has to be the best sold night for Mandy... I'm wondering if the switch to a different ticket sales site had anything to do with that...
It’s spring break.
Tonight was a mess getting in. The tickets on SeatGeek wouldn’t work because they switched to new ticket scanning software so everyone had to make a makeshift line at the box office to get paper tickets printed out while trying too keep out of the way of everyone else trying to get in. Luckily the St. James has, I’d say, the nicest box office staff on Broadway who handled it as well as they could.
But after that, I was so happy to finally get to see Mandy. A totally different interpretation of the character which was nice to see. I’ve really missed seeing her on stage.

honestly the staff at the St. James has been the nicest I've ever encountered at a Broadway theatre. Was sure they must've transferred from the West End with the rest of the cast :)

I'm always interested in your take on things, so could you talk a bit about the arguent that is frequently made--that the show was so clearly staged for Nicole, no other actress can really fill the gap in her absence? I'm not asking about the talent of one performer vs. another, but were there elements of staging, or use of the video cameras or whatever-where you thought, "Yeah, that was clearly designed for Nicole, and for this show to really work with other actures this moment needs to be restaged/tweeked"? Or does it seem to you this production could easily work with other actresses--if audiences would just give them a chance?
