Please don't give me a mental image of Julie Taymor and an anal retentive.
According to this latest BWW article, the flying is approved and the show is set to go... but:
"the Times reports that stops during this evening's performance are possible and also notes that the final 10 minutes are 'not fully finished'."
So... yeah.

I'd love to pay to see a show that isn't finished! Oh, wait...

When I saw the first preview of Carrie, the prom destruction scene was not fully finished. But we got the gist.
I LOVE bubbly Paige Davis's interview with her husband, not least of which is finding out here married name would be Paige Page, if she took one.
Maybe the show isn't "finished" but tonight's audience will certainly get their money's worth in bragging rights alone.
Can someone please post Julie's curtain speech on you-tube?
(That is not copyrighted, I presume.)

I know it's probably too much to hope for a curtain speech in front of the show curtain.

Do any of the "Spider Haters" have tickets for tonight?
JC, Snafu, Blaxx, etc? I would love to see their opinion AFTER they actually see the show.
I am very pro Spidey, am going tonight, and promise to be objective with my worthless opinion.
Nope. I'm out of state this weekend. I haven't bought tickets yet because nobody had known for over a year when the show was actually going to start. I can't wait to see it though, never said any differently. I think the show has been managed, directed, handled in general worse than any show in recent history. Thats my beef with it.
And of course you're going to the show tonight, Bailey. You work for the damn press office!
Of course I don't have tickets for tonight, don't be crazy!
I'm just going to wait until a set piece flies through a window and sneak in. I hear that happens early in the first act.
Blaxx, are you just going to dress up as an EMT and sneak in with them to grab a seat?
Something tells me this thread is going to be a Pollack-esque behemoth with every vibrant, garish color of hysteria and sarcasm slashing across the screen with an invigorating, breathtaking violence!
I. Can't. Wait.
where can i click "Like" on borstalboy's post?
I was thinking an EMT or a piece of grass from The Lion King.
Either way, I would easily sneak in.
As I have stated before, I will not be seeing this. After being bored to tears (except while hysterically laughing at copulating Africans on wires) during The Lion King, and The Green Bird. I have had enough with stylistic pretension without emotion.
I'd rather X-tube a Julie look alike touching herself then sit through this.

Good Luck to al the cast and crew.Heres hoping for a smooth preview. Hope the score and book matches the visuals.
Hope the difficult stunt that has caused so much aggro lately, that the actor performing it, breaks a leg or preferable two.
People should be entering the theater by now. I wish someone would post something about how the theater and the stage looks. :P
Could care less about the show, but this thread is going to be EPIC.
From the tv commercial there seeme to be a lot of giant illustrated faces that pop up here and there. I am curious to see how much like a comic book this production is.
Btw, did anyone else notice that Rafiki seems to have wandered into this production around the 18 second mark of the trailer?
Oh, and I found a link to a brand new trailer!
Trailer 2
alright peeps, this is the digital age, there's no reason we can't have a live feed going on as we speak. or at least a live twitter feed about this show. Where my twitter friends at? :)
All right, bets on how long the first preview is going to be? 3 hours? 4 hours? 5 hours?
Yes, perhaps a more suitable expression of luck should be used for this production rather than "Break a Leg"
