According to this latest BWW article, the flying is approved and the show is set to go... but: "the Times reports that stops during this evening's performance are possible and also notes that the final 10 minutes are 'not fully finished'."
Nope. I'm out of state this weekend. I haven't bought tickets yet because nobody had known for over a year when the show was actually going to start. I can't wait to see it though, never said any differently. I think the show has been managed, directed, handled in general worse than any show in recent history. Thats my beef with it.
And of course you're going to the show tonight, Bailey. You work for the damn press office!
Something tells me this thread is going to be a Pollack-esque behemoth with every vibrant, garish color of hysteria and sarcasm slashing across the screen with an invigorating, breathtaking violence!
I. Can't. Wait.
"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”
~ Muhammad Ali
As I have stated before, I will not be seeing this. After being bored to tears (except while hysterically laughing at copulating Africans on wires) during The Lion King, and The Green Bird. I have had enough with stylistic pretension without emotion. I'd rather X-tube a Julie look alike touching herself then sit through this.
Those Blocked: SueStorm. N2N Nate. Good riddence to stupid! Rad-Z, shill begone!
Could care less about the show, but this thread is going to be EPIC.
From the tv commercial there seeme to be a lot of giant illustrated faces that pop up here and there. I am curious to see how much like a comic book this production is.
Btw, did anyone else notice that Rafiki seems to have wandered into this production around the 18 second mark of the trailer?
Oh, and I found a link to a brand new trailer! Trailer 2
alright peeps, this is the digital age, there's no reason we can't have a live feed going on as we speak. or at least a live twitter feed about this show. Where my twitter friends at? :)
