Well, I saw it. I bit the bullet. The treviews are right, short answer. There were no falls or screw ups during our show, which was too bad (everyone was hoping for it.) I think the music is better then it's getting credit for.
Also 'In The Heights' is coming to my town (Hershey PA) and I’m trying to win tickets for me and my Mom through an online contest. just click this link below and it counts as a vote for me, thanks

The audience was mellow upon entering, but the energy increased in the balcony when the house crew warned us about actor entrances and exits on the balcony.
So the show begins. Stunning visuals. Looks impressive.
Then. Then the Greek chorus school kids enter.
The story hit a stand still.
And never recovered.
Now, I loved the show. But the Greek chorus needs to be cut.
And if cut, the show would be way better. Running time, plot, just remove the chrous. Add some lines of dialogue, and there is Spider-man!
Peter and Uncle Ben need a song together. Like even a verse together would improve the over all story tremendously. Just a line. Please!
The wrestling match was useless. Stupid, silly, and useless. Please cut it or change it.
Peter. He wins money. What does he do with it? It's not mentioned again. . Unless I missed it.
Osbourne was annoying. Him and his wife. And there needs to be more development with the army generals. That was random, and I know there was a line in a previous scene about it. . But not enough.
Loved the flying! Loved the music! So different and brilliant. bullying by numbers was an awesome song.
The reason for the green goblin to attack spider man was stupid. And he then randomly had Mary Jane?
This musical was so random. So random. So so random.
It was snapshots in the spider man world.
But it can be greatly improved just by tightening up the book. It's the book. There is still time.
With a $65+ million budget, good job on that alligator man and the large spider web by. Arachne made a fish net. Cool.
The villain fashion show should be moved to when they are 'destructing' the city. And actually put to use. It was pretty awesome.
The man on the bucket. Wtf.
No seriously wtf was that?
The connection between Reeve as Peter as Spider-man was lost.
Lost. How many times was Peter in suit?
Let's have Peter in the suit in the end okay? He saves Mary Jane, well attempts to in suit, then Arachne catches him and he is out of suit. COSTUME change. Come on.
But in reality all the important negative aspects are from the book
Everything else was incredible. I came in expecting a comic book to come to life. And it delivered.
The acting was amazing. The music was so good. The flying, sets, lights, so beautiful.
Julia's work as director was inspiring.
I hope this show pushes its opening back and fixes the changes that can be made so easily. Just the book! That's all we ask! Then I'm sure it'll have a good run. I hope for the best to everyone connected to the production.
Looks like from Reeve's twitter message he just posted that we'll be seeing a TOTD EP in coming weeks. They should've done that months ago as a marketing tool. Finally.

Sounds about right to me. I'd hope they would do Bouncing Off the Walls instead of Picture This though. It's a more upbeat song, and with the other 3 selections, a faster number is kind of needed.

They should be on in about 10 minutes. He still has one more guest before they perform. Cool backdrop they are using. A rehearsal pic was posted on my Facebook page.
Does Jennifer Damiano always sing in Rise Above or was she just singing some of Arachne's lines for the Late Night Show? I can't tell from just the audio if she sings in the song.

I really liked it, too - felt like good publicity for the show. Nicely evolving song, understated and well arranged (with some good video shots in the background for extra promo value )... - robjohn99
