I love this show so much. Came to visit friends in Jersey for a week and went to the city to see the show 3 times! June 6th, 9th and 11th! I got to see Ryan Link's first Berger and while he's no Will, he really holds his own and will only get better. I've never really been all that big a fan of Hair until this production. The cast just really makes it and I've fallen completely in love with it!
My friend and I are such dorks we made Gavin a build-a-bear that looks like Claude and gave it to him, he loved it and remembered us the next time we saw the show lol.
I only wish I wasn't leaving tomorrow as I'd love to see the show a few more times. Guess that just means I have to figure out when I can take a few more days off to go and see it!

So I just bought two tickets to the July 1 Eve. performance (The Tony performance TOTALLY sucked me in lol). My seats are M18 and M20 Right Orchestra. I know these are pretty far over but is there anything wrong with these seats (aside from the lessened interaction from being away from the aisles)?
Wicked Tour (2/26/08); Wicked Bway (7/1/08); HAIR (7/1/09); Rock of Ages (7/2/09); Wicked Bway (7/3/09); Mary Poppins Tour (8/2/09); Wicked Tour (11/18/09); Wicked Tour (12/5/09)
yes i can comfirm it. i actually had the same seats on the other side m19 and m21. mid launch you will collide head first with the people in those seats.

I went back today for the matinee. So much love for this show. Michael James Scott was on as Hud and was pretty awesome.
MY friend is at the show tonight and she said it is:
Michael - Hud Briana - Crissy and I believe Chasten is in Megan R's track, with Lauren singing her part in "Black Boys".

My mom made me go see this with her and damn her now I have another freaking addiction. I've been listening to the soundtrack since I saw it on Saturday. I was in the 3rd row in the orch and got slapped in the shoulder by Will Swenson. Man, was that fun!!
And OMG I am so freaking in love with both Gavin Creel and Will Swenson.
Need to go see this again and soon.

This is the only thing I listen to on my ipod, actually.
I'm a professional. Whenever something goes wrong on stage, I know how to handle it so no one ever remembers. I flash my %#$&.
"Jayne just sat there while Gina flailed around the stage like an idiot."
It's been almost a week since I got home from my awesome vacation (including seeing Hair 4 times) and I miss the show so much! I really don't think there is anything else currently on Broadway that tops it at the moment. I can't get the songs out of my head and I keep replaying my favorite parts in my head. I'm already trying to plan another trip to NYC soon just to see it again.

Why are they calling it a be-in? It's just a CD signing. It doesn't sound there'll be anything different from any other CD signings. Am I missing something?
I can't wait to see this again in October (I'm coming from London). Damn, I wish I hadn't had my long hair cut off two months ago! Hell, I'll wear a wig and some hippy garb. What are the chances of getting naked at the curtain call?!!!
If this ever comes to London I'll be there at the auditions!
Does anyone know where I can get any High Quality pics of Caissie, Gavin, Allison, and Sasha? I found one of Will but thats it. Help would be greatly Appreciated.

I think that's what they call all their public appearances. Sweet that they are doing it at the theater.

Finally saw it this evening. It's just as amazing as I expected. Standing room was quite the love fest for me. Throughout the show, got tickled by Caissie Levy, back rubbed by Will Swenson, and ass slapped by Darius Nichols.
At the curtain call, me and my girlfriend went up onstage, front and center, and danced alongside Nichols and Allison Case. Creel and I gave each other (and then the audience) the peace sign, and I took the lovely yellow dandelion from behind my ear and tossed it into the audience on the final chord. Thrill of a lifetime.
Dandelion = Lovely??? If you are referring to the flowers the cast gives out....you didnt have a dandelion. Dandelions are weeds. Of course, if you brought your own, that's a different story.
I'm glad you enjoyed it. I always worry going into a show with high expectations -- in case they cannot be matched.
