Gee -- even in a 30 second spot you get sucked into watching Allison!
Adorable
Everyone's predicting it'll win best revivial, so get your tickets now!! I think there's still some kind of discount out their(maybe 25% off). Love the commercial also.
5/31 micro review:
I thought Hair was very strong and worthy of the hype it is getting from the critics; very familiar and dated show that is tough to revive on B-Way and they pulled it off. Cast was as energetic as advertised and that got the crowd going and not a fake kind of way I felt at Mama Mia. Gavin Creel is strong as Claude and worthy of the Tony nomination, I think he would win in most years but they will probably give the award to the three boys from Billy Elliott. All voices were good and the dancing was 1st rate. I would try and see this B-Way production because energy of cast is so important to this and I just don't see it traveling well on the road.

Alright, does anyone think the new tour could pull an Ain't Misbehavin' on us and do the RIGHT thing, which is to go to ALL types of cities... The Big 'Money Trap' cities and the smaller ones like mine... kind of like what the recent Ain't Misbehavin' tour did.
According to Broadway Understudies, Ryan Link is going on for Will Swenson as Berger from July 14th through July 19th.
Swenson provides such a unique energy that leads the company- it'll be interesting to see if someone else can replicate that.

You can contact telecharge and there is something they do that alerts the b.o. that someone other than the card holder is picking up tix.
I'm definitely going to check out Ryan Link as Berger. Will Swenson is amazing and I doubt Link will be on that level(basically because Will has been doing it so much) but I think he'll do great. I hope he surprises the **** out of me.

Weird. This has been one of those shows that kind of left my mind immediately after seeing it, but a week later I suddenly find myself fixating all over it. I'm really happy I got a chance to see this show.
Although, it seems like my friend and I were the only ones to catch it on the night where it descended into a no-joke fully textual love story from Berger to Claude. My friend had never seen the show, and I don't think she was even aware that they aren't necessarily supposed to be that into each other. I hope they weren't just playing it up for Adam Lambert.
Hopefully seeing it my 2nd and a quarter time Saturday night! I'm in such a dilemma because I have to wait for my gift card to activate before I can use it online. I am praying I can snag some tickets.
i was there today too rocks! i was in the orchestra the seat in front of where gavin is standing in your avatar. those seats were empty so berger and sheila came and sat behind me and were messing around with everyone's hair in my row it was great. my favorite part of today had to be between anthony hollock whispering "sex" in my ear during my conviction or at the end of the song when he says "that is the way things are in most.." and allison case screamed out "what!?" he looked at her like what the hell?! lmao loved it. the improvisation in this show continues to grow.
congrats on winning the lotto!

Thanks, gerb! This show is just so amazing, incredible, powerful, and FUN!
And sgv, I just saw that on Gavin's Twitter feed and am assuming that's the reason why. But the cast didn't care...they were still dancing on all the empty rows and jumping on the seats. And the audience loved it.
Besides being the best show on Broadway, it's one of the best experiences I've ever had in the theater. I just love this show so much.
