Briana has always been first cover for Crissy as far as I know. Allison hasn't been out much but Briana's always gone on.

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...

Yeah, they recently updated the playbills to say Briana's a Crissy u/s and Nicole Lewis is the second Sheila u/s. I don't know how many times Michael's gone on for Hud, but I've already had him on twice.
TreyKenyon- Ryan was supposed to go on for Will's vacation and announced it pretty early, but Steel went on instead. Probably why you thought he's been on more, people were expecting it to happen.
over 1000 posts, just wanted to point that out. let the sun shine! oh- and the summer program i'm teaching at has a "before-your-time" dress up day, and i'm thinking 'bout dressing as a Tribe member...need to find beads!
While I don't know if I can imagine that, I'd certainly love to see it.
I was surprised she didn't cover Dionne when the show moved. The two times Patina Miller was out in the park, her and Saycon "split" the role, with Saycon singing "Aquarius" and doing the book scenes and Nicole singing "White Boys" (though my guess it that was only because of the lack of swings.)
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.
i've actually ordered from hippieshop multiple times before! it's a really cool online store. i got my gear for the GMA performance from there. they ship very quickly too if you live around ny/nj as they are located in central nj.
when i saw nicole lewis under Sheila understudy i was a bit confused but would totally love to see it. i must see jackie go on first tho. stilllll waiting for that to happen. and yay for 1000 posts! i didn't even realize. woohoo starshines!

It's only about a half hour - 40 minutes from my house, but the one time I had free time to go there, they were closed for the whole 4th of July weekend And they are only open until like 5 or 6 and by time I get out of work, I wouldn't be able to get there. I'm gonna be in Boston this weekend, but I'm gonna go up next Saturday and see if I can get some new stuff for the Aug. 6 show. And I'll probably order stuff online too LOL

Thanks for the hippie shop link Leia947. That website is awesome!! I've been looking all over for a hat with a peace sign on it and I just found it on the website. I have to go buy it now:)
I also am very curious to see Nicole's Sheila. I saw her Dionne in the park (wow, I've been really lucky w/understudies, I haven't seen the show -that- much. lol) and liked her acting choices (I swear she did the book scenes, and Saycon sang Aquarius/Walking in Space). I'm more concerned with her being able to pull it off vocally, although Sheila isn't as difficult to sing as Dionne.
And kinda off topic, but does anyone know why the Dionne/Sheila solo during Flesh Failures/changes in number of people singing it, practically from a show-to-show basis? I know that they added Kacie Sheik to it during previews, I think, and that seems pretty set, but sometimes I see/hear Jackie Burns join in, and last time I was there Megan Reinking did. viola i've been wondering the same thing! i always think like wait a minute. she wasn't singing this part last time. maybe they can just do it when they feel like it lol.

So after losing the lotto several times, I finally just got a ticket for next month at the box office yesterday. I'm sitting in Row M Center Orchestra, Seat 111, and I was wondering what the interaction is like there. Sorry if it's been mentioned in this thread already; I'm feeling lazy today and didn't bother to go through the 40+ pages of Hair love!
I feel like I should know this, but I don't. How early should I get on line at the Hirsh for SRO for the 8 p.m. show on a Saturday? Do they sell the SRO for that show first thing, or do they wait until after the matinee show? I'm going to see The Little Mermaid matinee on Aug. 22 and we want to see HAIR at the 8pm show but really want the SRO since I've heard that SRO is so much fun. Help? Pretty please?

If the show's already sold out (and I'm guessing it will be for a Saturday night), or close to selling out, they should be selling SRO when the box office opens.
I've noticed if they're only selling the side rows of mid mezz, they'll most likely have standing room for the show. Not always, but it's what I go by if I want SRO. I haven't had to get there any earlier than like, half an hour before the box office opened, but I've never done it on a weekend, either.
How far off the aisle? For instance, I saw HAIR in seats M18 and M20 which are listed as 9 seats off the aisle, but are only like 3 seats off the aisles on the side of theatre which gets some good interaction. We had Caissie handing out flowers and Will numerous times (one time shoving his junk in an old lady's face during Ain't Got No) haha. Try looking for side orchestra. I'm no expert like some others on here but the only place where it seems you would get minimal to no interaction is the middle of the center orchestra.
Plus even if you specifically don't get interaction, it's still an AMAZING experience.

There are definetly more qualified people to answer this seeing as I only saw it once, but those seats should be great (but by all means keep looking if you want lol) From what i saw, aside from the three seats in the front row during Will's opening monolouge, there is no quaranteed seat for interaction. The cast probably has general areas but just sort of improvs (especially Will haha). IMO a kiss or hair toss is icing on the cake cuz when you're there (especially with how close your seats are) there are literally tribe members all around you and you feel like you're part of the tribe. IT'S AWESOME!!!
That's my two cents, hopefully people with a few more shows under their belt will weigh in for you. :)
