Ok I thought Shaggy was great.
Opinions can be wrong. He looked and sounded like the Ambien was kicking in...

I’m loving the costumes except Sebastian.
I agree with most of the criticism on here, but every time there’s a commercial and I think about running down to the hotel lobby to get snacks, I don’t because I don’t want to miss what comes next. No way I’m missing Queen Latifah as Ursula.

What an absolutely perfect description of this.
Best Song Performance meets American Idol song performance
Forgive me if my memory is shot, but Ariel doesn't sing in "Under the Sea" in the movie, correct? It sounded a bit odd
That was their "incorporating" the Musical...
Queen Latifah is best performance so far.

Yes! By a mile!
Thank god for Queen Latifah, the rest is an amateurish mess.
Yup. Latifah just stole the entire production away from everyone. She owned that stage.
Queen Latifah was FABULOUS!!!!!

If I recall Queen Latifah who I agree was the highlight of tonight, is probably done performing tonight so...
I think I’m good on this. I’ve seen enough.
Also The Little Mermaid’s best songs have happened.
And Shaggy doing Kiss the Girl and John Stamos......yeah skip.

I thought Graham Phillips was also good.
And yes Oscars performance is the perfect description of the presentation as a whole.
Was that a new song for Prince Eric?
Doesn't Ursula get another song after Ariel loses the competition?
Price Eric’s song was “Her Voice” from the Broadway musical.

It sounded like a song cut from Les Miz.
I think Stamos is pulling this off. He may not really be a singer, but he is a performer.

It thought souls was good. I’m living on Les Poisson right now.

Absolutely. I found him really fun.

I definitely spoke too soon haha. Singing was fine, performance was meh.
When Disney’s ALADDIN did their Best Song(s) medley at the 1992 Oscars. Look familiar?
This is odd. I agree that Queen Latifah is the only good part of this so far. The singing is not good as is the "acting." I put that in quotes since I realize the actors are there just for the songs. But, I'm not getting any feeling or emotion that fits the songs.

No, it wasn't because Ariel also doesn't sing Under the Sea on the musical.
They'll also sing If Only from the musical and Ursula gets a Poor Unfortunate Souls reprise at the end, just before the finale.
