I've been looking at tickets for an April trip. The first few rows of the Mezz are significantly cheaper than the corresponding seats in the orchestra under the mezz. Does anyone know why? I realize folks haven't seen the show yet, so we don't know much about how it's staged. I've never sat in the mezz at this theatre. Is it really bad?

Front mezzanine seats in the Palace Theatre are really excellent, closed to the stage than many theatres. I have always thought that the Lunt Fontanne, /st. James and Palace had the best Front Mezz seats of any of the big musical theatres.

I bought front row mezz which was less $ than 2nd row but had a disclaimer about limited leg room (if that's an issue for you)

What about the cheaper seats in the second row orchestra? They say partial view, but from what I remember from Tammy Faye, I could still see everything. Obviously the design could be different, but I'm wondering if that discount would be worth it. Anyone have any thoughts?

The seat I bought for Saturday is one of the partial views in the orchestra. I actually did the chat function with Broadway Direct when making my purchase and the agent told me I'd only miss entrances and exits per the production.
I also used View from My Seat to compare a bunch of options as well.

seatplan.com is also a very good resource. I find better information on there than on AVfMS many times.

Thanks! I think for the price I might grab those when they open up for my date in May. My other option is front row mezz, but I'm 6'2 and I'm worried about legroom since they actually call it out.

You're so welcome! I totally can relate as I'm a taller and bigger guy so having leg room and not feeling squished is worth paying a little more.

Thanks for all the feedback on seats. I'm tall as well and saw the warning about legroom in the first row. I purchased an aisle seat 2nd row mezz. Looking forward to the show!

Looking forward to hearing word back as well. Given the size of the Palace Theater - for those that have seen - where would be great seats?

Idk what this slang means.
Wonderful show. One hold during act 2 which was resolved relatively quickly. Highly recommend!

Well that’s good to hear…the last time I remember having a quick hold during a show in its first preview was coincidentally Maybe Happy Ending (also directed by Michael Arden)
can’t wait to hear first reactions

They seem mixed over on reddit. Cool visuals with Stranger Things doing similar much better? ( the flying?). Mixed on the cast. The amount of sappy ballads and the music in general seem the downfall and worst elements.
surprisingly seeing many pleasantly surprised by Beaches, Vosk and the Little Cee Cee.
