I mean, considering her last show was Queen of Versailles (where she got 5 performances in, thankfully), this is certainly a step up.
If anything, it’s entirely possible she will elevate the role here like she did in that mess

Have they recorded an album yet? I wouldn't mind Sherie Rene pulling a Lea Michele in this instance. Would love her exquisite voice on a cast album once more!
EDIT: Lol, my bad, I see this has been discussed above. Add me to the voices that would love a cast album with Sherie to be produced!!

Can we assume Sherie will be in the show through at least September? Can we assume she’ll be in til the end of the run. Planing my August trip to the city around seeing Meg in Oh, Mary and Sherie being in Rocky

Any replacements for the main cast (should they occur) would probably be announced in the next week or so. The show is flipping to a commercial contract next week, which likely means that everyone just got a really nice raise consistent with the show’s success as an enticement to stay on. Aside from Juliette, who probably has a very sad reason for leaving (given how she was gushing about this from the jump), I can’t see anyone else leaving except for a scheduled vacation.

Thanks for clarifying. However, I'm reading rumors that almost the entire cast will be replaced next month. Again, only rumors but even that oracle yelling person posted it.

Juliette’s early departure, presumably, might be due to longstanding chronic knee injuries. She alluded to it on Facebook.

I am sure nobody is making her do the show.
I have been thinking that she is getting her "legs back", so to speak for a possible full return to a show. Just my thought.

I dont think she's in AHS this season. This season is very much greatest hits, so nobody is looking for the return of the cast of Delicate to be among them.

they just added more swings. so now Sherie starts this week and who's replacing MJ?
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

The show was supposed to end today before the extensions - everything after today is now a commercial production and no longer produced by Roundabout (hence no HIPTIX).
MJ probably couldn’t come to new contract terms and so ends her commitment. Wouldn’t it be a gag for her to join CATS though since Leiomy is out injured all summer? Macavity wouldn’t be that much of a singing lift for her and she can focus on dance
