they just added new swings but they aren't ready to go on. The show was 98% soldout tonight, too.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

I saw that Reddit post went out around the time their matinee was already in progress. I was at intermission at JELLICLE BALL and Iwas wondering why I couldn’t get my tickets on my phone anymore. I’m gonna guess cast illness since, as I’ve moderated the Understudies site throughout the week, I’ve seen a lot of strange and frequent cover situations

Luckily my friend (who’s Christmas Gift was this performance) thought on his feet and we rushed Third Row for SPELLING BEE. (I’ve been wanting to go back, even though Jasmine, Lana, and Justin are out - I want to see Jon Cryer and Matt Manuel is SO FINE)"

I picked up my tickets around 12:15 for today’s 4:00pm. Was told as of then, the show was still on and last night was due to illness but they don’t expect it to happen again (fingers crossed)…

I'm sorry, what exactly is creepy about their posts? Moderating an understudies site for a show that has had multiple call-outs the week they have tickets is creepy now? Seeing a show they like multiple times warrants encouraging them to seek professional help? Get a grip! This is a theatre board, and an increasingly dead one at that. Take note from this production of Rocky Horror and "don't be an asshole".

1) I’m one of the mods on the Understudies.org website that approves/enters posted dates, so whenever I log on to clear the queue, I see them come in from others.

2) I’m exhausted from having to defend my fandom for a show. This happens every time.

You’ll have Anania who, while I didn’t see her in RH, was fantastic in Saturday Church. Her, Star Quezon, and B. Noel Thomas were a formidable trio.

Juliette Lewis’s casting in this show is a bit confusing to me. She doesn’t have a name that will bring many people in the door, and I felt bad that she mostly looked lost and uncomfortable the entire time she was on stage.

Sam Pinkleton had a very distinct vision for this production and was thinking outside the box for his casting. (Hence why we got a Rachel Dratch Narrator and an Amber Gray Riff-Raff). While Juliette may not be as mainstream as she was back in the day, she does have a solid track record of playing very offbeat roles and also has singing cred leading an alternative rock band. (Juliette & The Licks).

I mean, they made the last one despite Joan Jett being contractually barred for participating (Kristin Lee Kelly was in her place).

Re: The S.O Rumor - that is a broad enough guess where nearly ANY replacement would fall under, thus proving him correct through generality. Also, given the track record for “Oh Mary”, I’m sure Pinkleton has a good hand picked CD to get people on board.

I'm happy Sherrie Renee Scott is going into Rocky. Her "Science Fiction Double Feature" will be one hell of a way to get the show started and set the tone for the evening.

I have to be a little disappointed because if she would have opened the show, it is likely she would have been nominated for it, and given this years offerings and how loved she is in the community, she could have won it too...
