She has freaked me out from day one with the Idina Hands. And the way she does it at the end of Defying Gravity (this sudden stretching) just creeps me out.

I think the Defying Gravity hands are really an 'Elphaba thing'. I saw Shoshana yesterday and I was worried about my health, that's how she threw her hands around.

Wow, in ten years, she's opened her hands, palms out! The woman should NOT touch a stage!!

I second Emcee's "Oh, Andy"
but that is pretty funny.

No, she doesn't need one.
Relax, us Jews use our hands to speak...a lot...

ha! Jwei, that's excellent!
#21re: The 'Idina Hands'
Posted: 4/14/05 at 1:53pmOkay, maybe you jews do use your hands to speak, but it seems that Idina uses them to make up for what she's lacking in the acting department. *here! if I put my hands out like this and move them around it shows intensity!*

*waves hands at munk*
Lots of Maureens wave their hands. I wonder if they do it because they picked it up from Idina's performance and it just became a Maureenism, or they do it because Maureen's just nuts.

Her hands as Maureen didn't bother me. But during WICKED, I wanted to run onstage and cut her arms off.
