Sutton is the best part of that show. I can’t believe they didn’t let her sing.
You could tell who was used to playing to a camera and who was used to playing to the balcony!

His eyes were so red. Did his makeup team take the night off?
Um Hugh's vocals didn't exactly impress. Is he having vocal fatigue or something?

Same. Scattered and not well written, which is ironic considering it was written by tonight’s winners for Best Original Score.

Glad to see Girl From the North Country won for orchestrations. I don’t usually agree with the choice there, I feel.
I was very happy to see Girl from the North Country win for orchestrations. It's my favorite musical from a season that, in my opinion, had several great ones. I'm glad it won't be shut out!

Yeah that was bland and boring. Pass.
i can’t help but think Lea Michele performing and Beanie not is some weird time warp.

I’m guessing that’s the first time that a curtain call was ever used as a musical’s Tonys performance.

Talent is welcome. A woman who got cast for her sunny disposition but cannot sing is not!

On a frivolous note, Miles's dress is STUNNING.

It was a total "whoa, he's aged" moment.

Did Tom Hooper direct Hugh Jackman's MUSIC MAN segment? They certainly went in for that "Les Miserables" closeup! And why would THE MUSIC MAN just perform their curtain call? We've seen that curtain call all over YouTube! I wish they'd done "76 Trombones" as it appears in the show, or maybe even "Shipoopi". I was really looing forward to THE MUSIC MAN's performance and I was disappointed.

Congrats Patti! But your dress look's like Victorian era widow's weeds.
Anyone catch Marianne Elliot's less than thrilled expression when Patti thanked her?

She's, in general, not a very expressive person. It wasn't personal.

If DeBose's brief shout out to understudies, swings, standbys, and stage/asst stage managers was all they get in this episode, that is a major disappointment.
I was touched by how emotional Patti was there at the end....the very brief shot of her going offstage caught her in a sob. Feel all the feels, Patti!
What a stunning performance from the cast of MJ. Every last one of them, how thrilling. Myles is a such a star!
Was the ensemble members out of sync for MJ? That was horrid
MJ just sold some tickets.

Do we know why Spring Awakening is performing?

You sure? I’ve never been more reassured in not seeing this.
