So, within the past month on my Chromebook I am constantly getting the "Please allow ads" box in the middle of my screen. Problem is that when I click to allow ads BWW won't allow the ad blocker to turn off. If I then click the "x" in the corner, the page scrolls to the top. The box pops up after I start scrolling down on the home page. It will sometimes pop up when I click on pages in threads and when I go to scroll through the comments those ads in between comments pop up at the bottom of the screen blocking content. It is annoying and frustrating as I have BWW set to show ads on my ad blocker. I don't have this problem on any other site.
Just a little reminder that I had to click "reply to message" to see the 275th post on this thread.

Still an ongoing issue that's never been addressed.

Something weird is going on with this week's grosses thread, it just goes back to the home page...

And says it was started by user CoffeeBreak, and not Rob (LoL)...

But then the one that was started by Rob links back to last week's thread.... Weird!
The grosses haven't been updated on the "industry" page - so perhaps Coffeebreak is just asking about them? It was a holiday weekend - so that will delay our receipt of them.....at least until later in the day, methinks.

It's got the exact same formatting as the official Grosses threads -- but leads back to the Main Board page when you try to click on it. Perhaps CoffeeBreak started a thread with the exact same title used by Rob and that's messed things up. Either way, something's up.

The grosses are already out and posted...

A notification for grosses went out, but they're still the same grosses as last week.

This week's grosses are out and posted elsewhere, they just aren't posted (correctly) here

Something weird is still going on with the grosses thread
(Maybe this is why we should just leave Rob to make these threads?)
My issues seem to have been taken care of. Thank you BWW.

We thank all of you for flagging the grosses issue - apologies for not posting a response sooner, our database team was troubleshooting the glitch which has been resolved! A thread for this week's grosses was posted.
That new thread is just redirecting to the main board for me.

The thread for the 11/10 grosses are a dead end.

Feels as if not all the threads I'm subscribed to are sending emails today even though there are updates.
Thank you
keep getting this message more and more frequently.
I don't know if it's my computer, but I very frequently get this message when I link to a thread:
Web server is returning an unknown error (Error code 520)
It's not a big deal, since the page then reloads without error. But it's something that that happens multiple times these days when I visit the site.

Count me as one more person experiencing the same thing on almost every page I attempt to visit. That includes use of the forward and back buttons in my browser. This error requires a reload of the page, which then seems to properly load the page without fail. The problem started a few days ago. Ironically, even when I tried to come to this page by clicking on my stored bookmark the error message came up.
It looks as though the post view counts aren't increasing with new views, at least not for certain threads? For example, the 'RIP Helen Gallagher' thread is still showing 0 views, even though it's received an upvote and so clearly at least one person has viewed it. Some other posts' counts seem to be remaining static as well. It's not an essential board feature I suppose, but it's a little weird.
Well now I am getting directed to an Error page when I go to open a thread. Also, for example, when I finally get to the WICKED Movie thread it only shows 70 pages when there are now over 90. When I click on 70 it sometimes goes back to the error page. I have to wait or hit refresh for it to go to the last page of the thread. Also scrolling has gotten "jumpy". Also, I periodically get some BWW offline banner at the top of my screen. This all started after the problems I listed above that I was having on my Chromebook. This site has now, at times, pretty much become unusable on my Chromebook and I have to use my phone if I want to read anything or post.

I've been getting those error messages all weekend when I click on some discussions. Even weirder, some threads that appear in queue as having a recent addition displays the most recent thread as having been posted on November 19. After refreshing, the actual most recent posts appear. It's happened a few times.

@mods can we please address this. It's been weeks now.

Is BWW particularly prone to bots starting accounts and posting ad comments for some reason? Seems like a weekly occurrence here and I rarely encounter it on other discussion boards.
