Does anybody know if they are going to put the lottery back up?

I rushed in November and the couple in front of me was asking about better seats and the box office people were not happy. Granted, I think it had more to do with the fact that the couple was holding up the line and trying to argue with them, but they still would not let them pick which seats. It would be worth asking because the worst they can tell you is no, though.

Are you very against the wonderful seats they are giving out to the rush line?
Where have the seats been? Are they partial view?

I was rushing waitress Saturday, and was watching the Band's Visit line. When I arrived to waitress at 7:30, there was 1 person. At 8:30, there was two. Then, around 9:30 a HUGE group of people randomly left Buffalo Wild Wings and went into the line. There were probably 15-20 people when the box office opened.

In my experience, they’ve either been in the rear mezzanine, box seats, or the very end seat of an orchestra row (sometimes even row AA).

It sounds super obnoxious to be picky about your super discounted tickets. If you want "better" seats, pay slightly more to use a Broadway Box code and pick your own seat, especially if you're holding everyone else up.

If anyone is rushing this week, can you give an update? I wanted to know if announcing closing will impact rush waits. I'm thinking about rushing on Saturday - still haven't seen this!
Any updates? I’m gonna rush tomorrow morning (Sunday). The box office doesn’t open until noon. Has anyone rushed on a weekend lately? If I get there at 11, do you think that is sufficient?

I’m rushing waitress across the street right now and there are maybe 13-15 in line at Band’s Visit at 9am if that helps judge at all.
It does. Thank you! Good luck with waitress!
Update for anybody who needs one: Sunday 2/24/19 arrived at 10:00 and was second in line (but first left so now I'm first), ten mins after the amount Rose to 5 people and as of 11:34; 16 people on line for 12:00 opening. I'll edit with an update when I get my ticket! Edit: 20 people were on the line by 12:00 and I think most of them got tickets. I got a seat in box A and it had an amazing view. Definitely would recommend rushing and seeing this show before it closes.

Debating whether I should just get myself a side mezz $45 in advance for the final Wednesday matinee or try rush. Do you think the rush line will get a little crazier closer to the closing date? Should I just go with the size mezz seat? Just need one. Thanks.

The rush line will probably get crazier as the closing gets closer. Depending on what side and seat you get, side mezz would be fine. The right has a better view than the left.

Just wanted to post an update for whoever may find it helpful:
Friday 03/22/2019 - Got to box office by 8am and was 2nd in line. 3rd and 4th person got in line by 8:30am, 6th and 7th around 9am, and by the time box office opened, there was around 15-20 people after me.
Got seats Orch D 9 & 11.
First time watching the show and glad to be catching it before it closes!

I rushed this past Thursday and was able to get a rush ticket at 6pm before the 7pm show. Not sure if it was a fluke that day, or they're giving out a lot of rush tickets. Mine was in the front mezz, all the way to the left. Great seat.

Has anyone tried this week? Wanna do it tomorrow but not sure how early I should get there
update: got here at 7am and was first in line. More people started arriving maybe 10 minutes later, and line was fairly long by the time the box office opened!
