Haha, I meant reviews from people on this people about the first preview.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Cher - the real one - will also be performing at Atlantic City's Borgata on August 17 and 18th. So that makes 2 "fake" Chers and 1 real Cher in the NY Tri-State area over the summer! :)

THE CHER SHOW has 3 (three) actresses playing Cher, so with the "real" Cher that makes it 4 (four).  Also, you're time-frame is way off as THE CHER SHOW doesn't begin preview performances at the Neil Simon Theatre in NYC until November 2018.  The entire cast is on hiatus between the end of the pre-Broadway Chicago run and the start of previews on Broadway.

If you won the lottery, I believe you have to buy the tickets on line within one hour, by 6pm Chicago time.

Mmmmm. The lottery results were announced at 5PM. If your 2 tickets were not announced at 5PM, but at some other time, maybe contact the BIC office for advice. Congrats.

I GOT TICKETS TO SEE THE SHOW TOMORROW!!!  I am sooo excited I can't stand it!  As a child, I was completely transfixed by her every week with what she would do, how she would look and how would her hair be, (it may have been a early sign of the slowly impending Gay phase).  I could never figure out how her hair could go from long to short as I had no idea what wigs were.  My heart is beating uncontrollably until I am inside of the theatre.  I will give a complete report on Wednesday!

I worked on one of her retro Armor costumes. Bob Mackie is designing the. Ours had to be silver rather then gold due to copy right laws.

Have they released what the lottery seats are? Are they up front or limited views in the balcony?

Every day, there is a lottery the day before for 28 seats for each performance.  Each lottery starts every day at 9am.  This morning, I entered the lottery at 9:02 and they announce the winners at 5pm.  I was told this evening that I won "standby" tickets for tomorrow's show, meaning if there is someone that doesn't buy their tickets within an hour, I would get the two tickets that I asked for in the lottery.  You are allowed a maximum of two tickets per lottery.  They do not tell you where the seats are, and they may be partial view.

Yes it did.  Earlier today, there was talk of canceling it, but then they changed their mind...

Yes. Jeff Bowen just posted a picture of his ticket on Instagram, and you can see a bit of the show logo in the background, which is presumably the curtain. Link.

I have NEVER been more excited to see a show more than this!  The only thing to make it more exciting is to see Cher up close and personal!...

A couple Facebook friends who were at invited dress seem to have enjoyed it. Mackie's costumes are supposedly incredible, and SJB is being reported as a powerhouse, as always. But it appears to be clocking in at around 3.5-3.75 hours at this point, based on rumors and the time that these reports were posted. I wonder at what point it'll be trimmed.

There is no way a musical about Cher should be as long as Angels in America. Never. Ever.

That is just plain dumb and irresponsible . After all the workshops and rehearsals this show as had- it should be nowhere as long as that.

Seriously? It's an out of town tryout and an invited dress, Can we maybe cut them some slack until there's an actual performance and not beat them up over "rumors" that it's running long?

Geez. Tough crowd.

It's a good thing the producers of Les Miserables didn't hold that same opinion.

Its based on the 1980 Oscar winning film COAL MINER’S DAUGHTER but with the character of Cher as the lead hence the title THE CHER SHOW.

It's the stage adaptation of Clueless with a score by Pia Zadora.
