I'll be there Tuesday as well! Also, someone commented on a BIC Instagram post asking if there would be rush for the show and BIC responded saying "rush tickets will not be offered for the run of the Cher Show, but stay tuned..." I really hope they don't do some type of lottery especially if it is at Block 37 across the street like it was for Wicked and Newsies.
There will be an Actor's Fund performance of "The Cher Show" on June 21, with a two-hour pre-show reception featuring the book writer, Tony and Drama Desk nominee, Rick Elice Orchestra and Dress Circle seats are all $125.00.
Today I had my digital lottery cherry popped today. I went onto the Broadway Direct website and entered for two tickets for tomorrow night's first performance of "The Cher Show" in Chicago. I really hope that I win, Cher has been my life since I was a child. Can't wait to see Bob Mackie's costumes, not to mention all of the great actresses!...
I'll be eagerly awaiting these reviews Wednesday morning.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
Cher - the real one - will also be performing at Atlantic City's Borgata on August 17 and 18th. So that makes 2 "fake" Chers and 1 real Cher in the NY Tri-State area over the summer! :)
Apparently the invited dress is now back on (???). This information is all coming secondhand from a friend. So who knows what's happening over there. I'm looking forward to seeing how it goes tomorrow.
I will also be there tomorrow evening for the first preview. Should be interesting (and, even if it ends up being a mess, I can't wait to see the Bob Mackie costumes).
