What about the aging (I mean old) theater queens who think they are the know all, end all and be all of the American theater? Just one comment for you disgusting trolls -- F.U. And if you knew anything about the history of the American theater you would know what F.U. stands for -- here's a hint: cornflakes.

I thought it stood for Felix Unger?

Do they have to be called "queens"? Is it only old gay men who do this?
What about women? Women can't be bitches? Talk about sexist.
Wow -- some people are on edge today. (You know, MORE than usual.)
This thread made me Elle-O-Elle.

He didn't mention the "newintown"'s.
I guess that makes me type three. :P
The "know-it-alls" in this room (and there are some) aren't limited to any particular age group. That should be obvious to everyone...well, not everyone. from RC in Austin, Texas
On occasion I'm #5, and the occasion is when said poster is actively in attack mode towards me or someone else.
Everyone on here is perfect. I'm sorry I ever thought I had a right to an opinion.
My glasses are NOT arrogant! A little smug, perhaps, but that's because they went to college.

ghostlight, I guess I was thinking of obscure in the unclear sense as opposed to the unknown sense.
I'd love to know now who the "them" is that ChiChi is talking about!
Gee...I don't know PHYLLIS

Well, whatever floats your boat, baby. I never understand the people who think that it's their member status that's the problem, but whatevs. I do love when people complain about people spending their lives on the board... on the board.
But at least I don't jump into threads to cagily complain about "them" on a thread and then act like I ain't just trying to start sh*t.

Why peoples mean to ya, Phyl?
I owe you great thanks for proving my point.
Well Hervagesty, I would suggest spending your time elsewhere if that's the case. Nobody's saying you have to come here (in fact most people are saying just the opposite) so instead of crying yourself to sleep you should go curl up on the sofa with a pint (or whatever the hell measurement you have over there) of ice cream (or chilled cream or whatever the hell you call it over there), turn off the laptop (or lappy, or whatever the hell you call it over there), get into bed (or beddy-bye or whatever the hell you call it over there) watch some Benny Hill and go to sleep.

They're not worse than the teenagers who profess to be the know all, end all, and be all of the American theater. It's hilarious when they say things like, "In all my years of seeing shows..." I had a fourteen-year-old say that to me on one of these boards. Only I didn't know he was fourteen, I thought I was conversing with, you know, an adult. About a month later I was seeing a show at the Manhattan Theatre Club and someone said to me, "You know that guy you were arguing with online? There he is." And he pointed to this fourteen-year-old (barely), who I then went up to and had a little reality conversation. It was funny and he turned out to be a nice kid.

That's okay, Chic. You've proved mine to, even the one I made earlier which wasn't even about you!
Chichi, ??? So, if you have the title of legend (which means you joined a long time ago, usually), that means you spend your entire life here? And how would you know how often they are here unless you were here to see it?
" and make other people feel bad for what they've posted "
Well, here's where we agree. I'm pretty outspoken about those who can't bear it when others opinions' differ from their "expert" opinions.
I think when hiding behind avatars, made-up screen names and a pc screen it's easy to be rude, arrogant and just plain mean. But I think if some of us were to meet in person we would find that we are really nice people with a lot more in common than we think.
