I saw it a few weeks ago and loved it. The cast is fantastic. The only thing for me is that theater has the most uncomfortable seats I ever sat in. I was there twice for Movin Out and don't remember it being that uncomfortable.

but how to dance in the rain."
Brilliant send-off to Karen Olivo at today's matinee- no curtain call speech, but after the group bow Lin pushed her forward, the rest of the cast stepped back, and the band played America. And everyone cried. It was lovely. Everyone was there today- Quiara, Alex, Bill Sherman, I think I also saw Tommy Kail, Jeffrey Seller, etc. Great show, glad I got to see it, really looking forward to seeing Karen in WSS.
Has there been any news yet on when any of the other cast members plan to make their last shows? I wasn't lucky to my my trip up to NYC over fall break but I'm REALLY hoping most of the other originals like Lin, Robin, and Janet will still be around in early December when I head up for Winter break!
<-- Gwen Stewart, SOLoist at the last show of RENT Cages or wings?

The new Vanessa is Marcey Harriel. (From a usually reliable source. Though I'm still waiting for an official announcement) Apparently she starts in 2 weeks.
She's an incredible talent who has been away from Broadway for far too long.
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.
Actors Fund performance tonight: - Doreen on as Abuela for the second time on Broadway (the first time was the matinee today) - Janet!Vanessa and Krysta!Carla, as it's been this week - Lin's post show speech not only talked about the Actors Fund, but he also did a farewell speech to Rogelio, whose last show was tonight- talking about how he was cast out of an open call, and has gone on in six tracks (including he went on as Benny again just this afternoon), etc., and gave a plug to The Little Mermaid, and had Rogelio come out and bow- very touching.
I love the Actors Fund crowd- this was my first Actors Fund show, and, not gonna lie, when Priscilla Lopez got entrance applause tonight I kinda went "awwww." Brian Stokes Mitchell was in the house- saw him at the stage door after. Heard Lynn Redgrave was also there, but her I did not see. oh- and Marcy Harriell was at the show tonight.
as much as i would have loved to see someone get bumped up i understand why they would cast Marcy over Krysta or Janet. It would be easier to add someone who only has to learn one persons lines and dance steps, while if they had bumped up someone they would have to teach someone lines for Carla, Nina, Vanessa, as well as the ensemble dance moves
Yes, but sometimes people have a third deeper layer thats the same as the first. Like pie. Dr. Horrible
Anakela, is Rogelio replacing Derrick Baskin in THE LITTLE MERMAID?

For those (like me) who will not be in the City and will miss In The Heights this holiday, go to BCEFA.org and support their GYPSY OF THE YEAR collecting efforts. It's simple, easy and a great show of support for the cast and crew as they vie for the crown. (I am sure their presentation this year will kick butt!)
yay! i'll go check her out hopefully they make an offish. announcement soon..i dont know much of her i know she played mimi and i really liked her in grindhouse!
what if susan blackwell hung out with boq, trekkie monster, the SOL soloist#2, and the piragua guy on a daily basis?
Hey Everyone, Im sorry if this question has been asked but I couldn't find it. Does anyone know when Lin's last show is. All I know is that it is in February...
