It varies. Sometimes you'll find lots and lots of shows. At other times you'll find almost nothing.
My TDF seats for Some Like It Hot were so terrible and such a poor value I was considering not using TDF any more and relying on discount codes instead, since those let you pick your own seat and you know what you're saving. I decided to give TDF one more chance and got tickets for the Kimberly Akimbo matinee today. I couldn't be happier; I had seat J111, center orchestra, a nearly perfect experience, and a huge savings over the seat price at Telecharge. It was a fun show too!
I also got TDF tickets to Some Like it Hot for last Wednesday's matinee....thought I was safe because a friend had seen it the previous Wed afternoon and had gotten great orchestra seats through TKTS booth!
My seats were in the balcony, even though there was no advisory on the TDF site about that possibility, especially in a theater with no elevator...and my companion had back issues that made it really hard for her to do stairs. I begged the house manager for help and was re-seated in the mezzanine--after the ticket window guy and an usher said no way--and the show was great.
I get that TDF is a wonderful gift...but that advisory is really important for older theatergoers. I did notice that a couple of days later, when it was back up on TDF. they made it really clear seats would be in the balcony, so props to them for doing that. I guess I wasn't the only one affected!

imho front Balc is far better than rear Mezz at the Shubert. Rear mezz in any house with a low balc overhang is about as bad as you can get on Broadway. They're probably listing it that way to manage expectations.
My Some Like it Hot were in Row F orchestra, far to the side, but just fine. Take Me Out were center but back in row O (I was hoping for closer cause, you know, peen...) 1776 was dead center orchestra ten rows back and Pictures From Home front row center Mezz.
Kimberly Akimbo up for Wed matinee 1/25/23. $57 all-in. At least 9 tix available.
Which brings up this question: If you regularly purchase on TDF (I don't), how far in advance might they post tickets for 3/11/23 matinee, if at all? Just looking for an educated guess based on your past experience. So far I've only been seeing tix for 1-2 weeks out at a time. I have a feeling that the current Broadway Box discount, which unfortunately for me runs only through 3/5/23, may get extended to include my date before I find any TDF tix.

1) It’s not $57 “all-in” - there’s still a $4 fee, so the total is $61.
2) It’s so wildly variant that, unless a show is floundering or hopelessly undersold, you will likely only see performances about a week or so out, so checking everyday probably should become a habit

We saw "Some Like It Hot" yesterday (7 p.m., Thursday, February 9) through TDF. Our seats were in the balcony, all the way to the left side (D25 and D23).
While we enjoyed the show and didn't miss much of the action (just whenever someone went up to the stage's second level, which doesn't happen often), I agree with the other commenters that the value isn't great compared to other TDF deals. The box office was selling balcony seats for this performance for $49–$79, and the show is regularly on TKTS. While these seats are probably better than far-rear mezzanine, I feel like they could do better for a show that just reported they're only filling three-quarters of the seats.
