It's an ensemble member. In that picture playing "Hansel" as in and Gretel.

That's cheating.

All these pictures looks so silly and comedic. While act 1 is lighter, nothing about this show should be so slapstick and silly. Someone please tell me, it's more on the serious side, and they're not just going for a crowd pleaser. That would dilute the whole show, like so many community theatre productions.

They play up the comedy A LOT! Costumes look cheap and thrown together most times being lost in the set.
Those Blocked: SueStorm. N2N Nate. Good riddence to stupid! Rad-Z, shill begone!

First it's Rafiki-Witch, and now I learn Cinderella's Prince is styled like Borat. I hope there's some heretofore unseen costume bewonderment to offset the what has been leaked so far, because everything I've seen of Emily Rebholz' costumes is such garbage that it's hard to imagine she'll be able to get work again. :/

While some costume pieces are fine, I would say that as a whole, it's an unsuccessful costume design. There is no cohesiveness. If we're not told who these characters are in the confusing opening sequence, there's no way the audience would know who any of these characters are. And after that, they still leave the audience guessing. What is the need for Hansel and Gretl when they're neither mentioned nor explained? And we certainly can't tell who they are from those costumes. Ditto Sleeping Beauty and Snow White.

I'd be fine with Cinderella's dress if she weren't playing Cinderella.

But that's not Cinderella's ball gown in the picture.

I would LOVE to see the budget for costumes here. Oddly they have some wink of brilliance to them. It's so strange how they look completely insane but are cohesively so.

I am kinda a digging the design. I feel for Adams though. that wigs and a cable knit cardigan? Girl must be warm.

I have to chime in and say I saw the show on Saturday night and REALLY enjoyed the show. I'll write a detailed review later, but wanted to say that i felt that the costumes really worked for this particular production.

If Adam's wig works for "this particular production". This production must be greatly flawed.

Why don't you see it LIVE before making a statement like that? Prior to seeing the show, I thought the wig was absolutely hideous. Now having seen the production LIVE, it really does work and looks better than the pictures.

I know it's still in flux -- but what is the current running time?

TheHappyPhantom is boycotting this production because of their family matinee.

Anyone know if they perform Our Little World now? I read that on opening it was in the playbill, but they did not perform it. Any word??

I don't think it's in there still. No one's mentioned it, either.

Intermission; from last Wednesday already a TON of changes, all for the better.
Our little world still absent
Also, paris remillard is now listed as rapunzel's prince. He's doing a great job, if this is his first night.

Glad to hear it! No word on why Cooper Grodin has been out? Can't wait to read more, Jag! :)

Wow, I'd love to see Paris as Rapunzel's Prince. The understudy did a fine job though.
Cooper Grodin is ill. Doesn't look like he'll be back, given that they've hired Paris.

Paris Remillard being brought in may not necessarily be a sign that Cooper Grodin isn't coming back.
Since there aren't any swings, the understudy's been playing Rapunzel's Prince and still doing his ensemble track simultaneously, so it makes sense that they're bringing in an outside replacement.
