Like I said before, anyone has a 25% of guessing right, so if Autumn wins it means absolutly NOTHING!!!!
And dance all you want, I know I WON'T be watching. Christ, grow up.

Posted: 7/13/08 at 12:09amAutumn wore that same outfit when she sang Legally Blonde for the audition. I don't think anyone auditioning for Elle would repeat...

Posted: 7/13/08 at 11:27amI don't doubt that Autumn won....I just don't know how excited I am about it.

I'm-gonna-dance-with-u. (to the tune of na na na na na na.)
There are some great girls there, but Autumn's the only one who can carry a show at this point.

Posted: 7/13/08 at 7:07pmHow do you know? With the show's oh-so accurate auditions (Dancing on Cobblestones & dyeing your hair) you have no idea who can carry the show until they are put IN the show.

Posted: 7/13/08 at 7:41pmOMG I puked a little when LBB got emotional during the Q&A Session. come on.

Posted: 7/13/08 at 7:55pmwell I guess we will find out on the 23rd if the winner can really carry the show.

Weeding out all the reality tv stunts this show has offered, Autumn is clearly the only pro-level girl there. From what we've seen, she's the only one whose ready to take the show tomorrow. The rest of the girls might improve with more rehearsal, but Autumn needs the least amount of fine tuning.

Posted: 7/14/08 at 12:30pmI don't know if anyone's watched the pre-auditions on the website, but Autumn also seems to have the best understanding of the character. I will be happy if it's Autumn. I think she'll bring back some of the warmth and goofiness that Reese Witherspoon had.

I dunno, I think that I'd have noticed that. Not like having flies in my eyes, in which case I wouldn't notice.
I still don't think that Autumn's the only one who could handle the show at this point. And if she supposedly has won, we've heard that she's having trouble. But, whatevs.
Also, portrayal-wise, I like Rhiannon the best. But her singing and dancing sucks, soo.

Posted: 7/14/08 at 1:09pmThere is no doubt the others COULD handle it, but I doubt any besides Autumn if they win WILL. The rest are too immature. Bailey just does a bad LBB impression, Rhinnon acts great but her voice couldn't hold up to 8 shows a week, and Lauren is great, but just seems WAY to young compared to the rest of the cast. Autumn has been amazingly consistent and is the only one completely ready as of now.

Posted: 7/14/08 at 1:13pmWell, I see your point. I just can't see her as Elle. She's great as Law Student Elle, but I remember that her "Serious" just wasn't that good in terms of the acting. You have to pull off the sorority girl bit, too.
#346re: The Search for the Next Elle Woods: The Spoiler thread
Posted: 7/14/08 at 1:19pmJust none of them, besides Autumn and probably Rhiannon, could be a good Law Student Elle. I would actually love Rhiannon, but there is no way her voice could hold up. And since Law Elle is most of the show, not Sorority Elle, I would think that the Law Elle should be the stronger side.
#347re: The Search for the Next Elle Woods: The Spoiler thread
Posted: 7/14/08 at 1:19pmI cannot believe I'm actually defending sororities here (my sister would be so proud ~ I purposely chose a school without them so I didn't have to be bothered by the silliness)...but there are different types of sorority girls. While Elle has been a certain way, as long as the basic ditziness is still there, she doesn't HAVE to be the Hollywood version exactly. IMHO.

Fair enough. Maybe I'll like Autumn more as we see more scenes ("What You Want" is tonight, I know, and that's sorority Elle).
Rhiannon is my favorite as well in terms of sheer portrayal. It's a shame that she can't sing and dance better.

I completely agree with you Spork. I think Rhiannon has the spark and the acting, and she had great chemistry with Richard Blake and Andy Karl. Unfortunately her dancing wasn't all that great, and the singing is "iffy" at times.
I think that is why I'm not exicted about Autumn winning. I just don't think any of those girls have the total package at this point.
I'll just cross my fingers that maybe Bailey has a miraculous discovery of how to act this week. For me she has more of the Elle spriit than Autumn does, even if she can't act.
