Expect Nicolette to extend until Jan. 6.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

OMGGGG Leslie Odom Jr as Dr P would be super cute, if this is true (even if I don’t necessarily see him as he geeky type)! I think he could also bring in extra eyeballs too!!
And the rumours were true and Kat McPhee has been cast as Jenna in the West End Waitress which I’m super excited about. She killed it when I saw her in NYC and I think her Jenna portrayal is so well suited for British audiences <3

I have no idea if this ^ is true or not...anything can happen of course....but on Thanksgiving Nicolette was posting on Instagram (more than once) that her last day is December 9th. I can see where she might not be allowed to say things but I can’t see her lying.

realistically? they are probably going to call sara back in for the holiday season and because she just came off of her performance on some late night show (can’t remeber which one right now)
idealistically? i want christy altomare in the role (but unlikely as you would have to pry anastasia from her cold dead hands

I know of more than half a dozen "names" that were going to go into Waitress before dropping at the last second...
Is there something going on with the Producers/managment that is causing this?
There is a MUCH higher volume of this at Waitress than there seems to be with other shows...

Posted: 12/2/18 at 2:39pmSo it appears that, #1. Their name they had lined up for the winter fell through. & #2. Nicolette can't extend. #3. This should give Torns a long run as Jenna(finally!). #4. I'd guess Sara returns in the Spring to close the show.

It's the Weisslers and they're cheap? Many singers might have read the fine print on the contract and said no thanks? But the turnover for such a small show has been enormous recently.
