I will definitely see it again on 8/25, but I may try to sneak another one in before then, but it is doubtful. I will definitely be on the lookout for it though.
BroadwayBoobs: I'll give all of you who weren't there a hint of who took the pictures ...it rhymes with shameless
Really? I wonder if it's intentional then? I hope not, it kind of messes up the "flow" of the song IMO. Awkward is definately a good word to describe it.

What's real to me ain't real to everyone.
Just got home from the show about 30 minutes ago and I have to say that the experience was completely surreal. I couldn't believe that Adam and Anthony were really there.
I've never been good at articulating exactly what I want to say in show reviews so I will just say that I would not change a thing about either of their performances. They truly were perfect.
Adam's portrayal of Roger was SO different then what I was expecting it to be. I wasn't expecting him to be quite so heartbreaking.
House was completely packed tonight. I noticed that Anthony couldn't quite keep the smirk off of his face during the round of applause at the top of show. If I was in his place, I don't know if I could either ; )
Another little tidbit I wanted to mention was how much eye contact both Adam and Anthony seem to make with the audience. Never have I seen other actors do so.
I hightailed it out of there after the show, however I was out the front doors within 3 minutes of the end of the performance and the crowd around the barricades was already 6 or 7 people deep.
Bravo guys, you truly made me fall in love with the show all over again.

Thanks for a review that was reasonably short and sensible. I don't think I'll be so capable after I see it... certainly not so soon after. 4 days now!

I don't know, I must be getting old. I loved seeing them in the show again after all these years, but that stage door scene was ridiculous and I had absolutely no desire to brave most of those crazies.
I'd also like to say that if any of you are the ones who are insisting on defacing the Nederlander with inane writings, please stop.
Oy, seriously. I loudly complained about it within hearing distances of some moronic tourist girl and her family. She was scrawling in giant black Sharpie all over the wall and they posed for pictures around it. I wish the theatre would just paint over it instead of encouraging more by turning a blind eye.

This is my friends facebook, it has some nice pics of the stagedoor.
Anyway, I was there last night. Totally friggen amazing. I know what you mean about the eye contact thing - I could have sworn Anthony was looking right at me during, "Seasons of Love," (Well, I was sitting like right infront of him too. :-P)
The stagedoor wasn't that bad, I mean it was worse than anything I've seen, but at least it was kinda controlled. I dunno if anyone heard me, but I told Adam that his hair looked better now than in the movie. I also felt excited cause Anthony talked with me for like a minute and a half. :-P

Or at least please learn to spell Jonathan Larson's name correctly in all of your rent-4-eva #1-renthead rent-is-life professing of love to him.
I find something very appropriate in Adam wearing a shirt that says "run for your lives" while signing at the stagedoor. Hee. Updated On: 8/10/07 at 12:47 AM
I saw all of the writing on the Nederlander. Does the staff just allow people to do this? I mean, I guess that it keeps the spirit alive? I don't know, maybe they have some reason for doing it.
