Memphis! I also have no shame. I don't actually have the CD, but have been listening to it on YouTube. I plan to buy it sometime soon, though.

Why is any mention of the MEMPHIS recording followed by the phrase "I have no shame".

Pianolin, I LOVE Alphabet City Cycle.
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

I have the Memphis OBCR, and I've tried to immerse myself in it several times, but it just doesn't pull me in. I do like "Love will stand when all else falls."
"The price of love is loss, but still we pay; We love anyway."

Two Gentleman of Verona got played yet again in my kitchen at 11a over cocktails. It's the only musical my partner will put up with lately it seems. "Summer, summer, I am like the summer!"
With Irma you gotta do something!

I love Two Gents....
"I wouldn't know a spiritual relationship if I tripped over it and broke my nose!"
I'm going through yet another Follies phase... it's a lot of the Scrabble album. And then I'm getting into City of Angels

Into the Woods (Revival)
"You have two kinds of shows on Broadway – revivals and the same kind of musicals over and over again, all spectacles. You get your tickets for The Lion King a year in advance, and essentially a family... pass on to their children the idea that that's what the theater is – a spectacular musical you see once a year, a stage version of a movie. It has nothing to do with theater at all. It has to do with seeing what is familiar.... I don't think the theatre will die per se, but it's never going to be what it was.... It's a tourist attraction." Stephen Sondheim
